NASCAR Friday schedule at Watkins Glen International
The ARCA and Truck series will race Friday at Watkins Glen International as the road course in New York opens its annual NASCAR weekend. After practicing and qualifying from 10 to 11:20 a.m., ARCA will race at 2 p.m. The Truck series will practice and qualify from 11:35 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. before racing at 5 p.m. There will be four Cup drivers in the Truck race: Chris Buescher, Christopher Bell, Kyle Busch and Ross Chastain. Dustin Long, Xfinity full-time driver Connor Zilisch will be racing in the Truck race (and in Sunday's Cup race). Zilisch also is the defending winner of the ARCA race but is absent from that entry list. The Truck series' most recent race at Watkins Glen International was on Aug. 7, 2021 when Austin Hill won an event that was shortened by lightning. NASCAR Friday schedule at Iowa Speedway
Iowa Speedway will open its NASCAR weekend with a full Friday slate of the ARCA Series. ARCA practice will begin at 3:30 p.m. ET, immediately followed by qualifying. A 150-lap race will begin at 7 p.m. ET on the 0.875-mile oval. Connor Zilisch won last year's ARCA race at Iowa. The JR Motorsports driver, who races full time in the Xfinity Series, won't be in the field to defend the victory. The Iowa Speedway garage also will open Friday for the Xfinity Series, which will practice, qualify and race Saturday. NASCAR Friday schedule at Dover
The ARCA Series will be in the spotlight Friday at Dover Motor Speedway, which will play host to practice, qualifying and a 150-lap race. Connor Zilisch, who races full time in the Xfinity Series, won the most recent ARCA race at Dover on April 26, 2024. The JR Motorsports isn't entered to defend his title in Friday's race on the 1-mile oval. The Xfinity Series garage also will be open Friday ahead of practice, qualifying and a race Saturday. NASCAR Friday schedule at Talladega Superspeedway
Talladega Superspeedway will have ARCA practice and Xfinity qualifying on track Friday as the 2.66-mile oval opens its first major race weekend of the season. The Xfinity entry list will feature 41 drivers and a lack of experience across the board. There are 11 drivers who will make their Talladega debut in Xfinity, and Jack Garcia will try to quality for his first Xfinity Series race The garage also will open for technical inspection in the Cup Series, which will be qualifying Saturday. Talladega Superspeedway weekend schedule, TV info for NASCAR Cup, Xfinity and ARCA
Talladega Superspeedway, the track known for close finishes and seemingly unending chaos, will welcome the Cup, Xfinity and ARCA series for its first annual NASCAR race weekend in 2025. ARCA (practice) and Xfinity (qualifying) will be in action Friday on the 2.66-mile oval, the longest track on the circuit. Saturday will feature all three series with Cup qualifying in the morning, followed by the ARCA and Xfinity races. The 500-mile Cup race will begin Sunday at 3 p.m. ET. According to Racing Insights, there were a record 28 Cup cars collected in the Lap 184 crash of the Oct. 6, 2024 race. There have been at least 66 lead changes in each of the past three races at Talladega, which is one of NASCAR's three 'drafting tracks' (along with Daytona International Speedway and Atlanta Motor Speedway). In the 20 drafting track races since the Next Gen car debuted in 2022, there have been 12 passes for the win in the final two laps.
