Trained by Omar von Muller, Belgian Malinois dog Monkey paints a Trojan horse. Watch
A dog named Monkey has caught the internet's attention with his impeccable painting skills. Coached by a professional animal trainer, Omar von Muller, Monkey – a Belgian Malinois – has a dedicated Instagram handle with videos of him painting on canvas.
In a new video shared by the dog's official handle @malinos1_monkey, Muller can be seen guiding Monkey as he paints a Trojan horse with a brush in his mouth. Towards the end of the video, Monkey can be seen jumping and shaking his head upon completing the painting.
According to a report in ARTpublika, Monkey can perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), open hotel room doors, and even use the bathroom. He climbs trees and effortlessly balances on a rope. When it comes to art, Monkey can paint abstract pieces as well as landscapes.

The video garnered praise from several social media users, with one saying, 'I hope he got a lot of loves and snacks after the painting. What a good boy.' Another user commented, 'Really want to buy a piece from monkey!!'
'I have never needed a painting more in my life,' a third user reacted.
Monkey isn't just an internet star but also a Hollywood star, thanks to Muller's nearly 30-year career in Los Angeles. From Orange County (2002) to Nightbitch (2024), Muller and his several dogs have worked in the entertainment industry.
Before Monkey, Muller trained Uggie, the iconic Jack Russell Terrier, who won plaudits in The Artist (2011). Videos of Uggie joining the cast on stage when the film won a Golden Globe and the Academy Awards had gone viral. His legacy was further cemented with his paw prints at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood, the report said.
