‘We leave this place changed': Bakersfield National Cemetery holds remembrance ceremony for Memorial Day
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield National Cemetery held a Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony to honor the fallen soldiers who gave their lives for freedom.
The ceremony was held Saturday, May 24.

Speakers at the event included Congressman Vince Fong, Bakersfield Mayor Karen Goh, Kern County Supervisor Chris Parlier, State Senator Shannon Grove and Colonel Mary Carnduff of Edwards Air Force Base.
