These packs incorporate AWS security expertise and are continuously updated to address emerging threats. The AWS WAF service helps protect web applications and APIs from common web exploits and bots. These threats could impact availability, compromise data, or drain resources. The new console allows users to select their application type, such as E-commerce platforms or transaction processing apps. Based on the selection, it automatically applies curated protection rules optimized for the specific use case. A unified dashboard now provides: Consolidated security metrics Threat detection insights Rule performance data Security teams can quickly identify and respond to potential threats. The interface also supports key security controls such as rate limiting, geographic restrictions, and IP reputation filtering.
