Egypt's Grand Mufti Meets Pakistani Ambassador to Discuss Religious Cooperation
H-Tayea The Ambassador of Pakistan to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Aamir Shouket, met today with the Grand Mufti of Egypt, Nazir Mohammed Ayyad, at Dar Al-Ifta in Cairo. The meeting underscored the strong and longstanding religious and cultural ties between Pakistan and Egypt. During the cordial discussion, Ambassador Aamir Shouket conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of the Government and people of Pakistan to the Grand Mufti. He expressed appreciation for the respected role that Al-Azhar scholars have played in promoting the true and moderate values of Islam around the world. Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs Hosts Pakistani Ambassador for Bilateral Talks
H-Tayea The Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs (ECFA), one of Egypt's leading foreign policy think tanks, hosted Ambassador Aamir Shouket of Pakistan for an official meeting with Ambassador Mohamed Al-Orabi, President of the Council and former Egyptian Foreign Minister. Embassy of Pakistan Cairo Observes Youm-e-Tashakur
SEENEWS Embassy of Pakistan Press Release Embassy of Pakistan Cairo observed "Youm-e-Tashakur" today to pay homage to the entire Pakistani nation and the Armed Forces for their profound national unity and bravery during "Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos" and ' Marka-e-Haq'. A Flag Hoisting Ceremony was held at the Chancery where Ambassador Aamir Shouket hoisted the National Flag to the tune of the National Anthem. During his remarks, Ambassador Aamir Shouket lauded unparalleled resolve of the entire nation against unabated Indian aggression steered by our brave political leadership and professional Armed Forces of Pakistan. He paid glowing tributes to the Armed Forces of Pakistan for defending the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of the motherland. Ambassador Shouket underscored that Pakistan effectively fought its case at the diplomatic front. The international community praised Pakistan's position of impartial investigation. Pakistan's befitting response to the hegemonic designs of India was covered by the global media. Ambassador thanked the Egyptian government for welcoming the ceasefire.
