WATCH: Dolphins WR on roster bubble Moss'd a Lions CB at joint practice

Dee Eskridge entered training camp in 2025 with a bit of uphill climb to make the Miami Dolphins' 53-man roster. After a few weeks of practices, it's getting hard to imagine a scenario where he's on the outside looking in. The former Seattle Seahawks second-round pick, who joined the Dolphins as a member of the practice squad in 2024, has been a standout throughout camp. And with Tyreek Hill nursing an injury over the last week, Eskridge had the opportunity to continue to turn heads in joint practices with the Detroit Lions. On Thursday, he took advantage with the best highlight of the Dolphins' 2025 camp so far: "That (expletive) had me juiced," Dolphins center Aaron Brewer said after the practice. "I ain't going to lie, that (expletive) had me turnt. Top of the head, that was like a real blur, you know what I'm saying? He went on top of – that was nasty." Eskridge's case for a roster spot is helped by his experience as a returner. While the 28-year-old receiver only has 20 career regular season receptions, he's been back to return 22 kickoffs, including five with the Dolphins last season. In Miami's preseason opener against the Chicago Bears, Eskridge's only touch was a 16-yard punt return that set up the Dolphins near midfield. For now, there's little doubt that Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Malik Washington are locks for the roster. Tahj Washington and Eskridge appear to have the inside track for No. 5 and 6 wide receiver roles, although it's possible the Dolphins will keep only one of that duo. 2025 Arizona Cardinals training camp roster preview: LS Aaron Brewer

We will preview every player on the Cardinals roster leading up to training camp. This is about LS Aaron Brewer. The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team. Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2024, questions they face and their roster outlook. Next up is long snapper Aaron Brewer. Aaron Brewer background, 2024 season Brewer, now 35 years old, enters his 14th NFL season and his 10th as the Cardinals' long snapper. The first four seasons of his career were with the Denver Broncos. He joined the Cardinals in 2016 after undrafted rookie Kameron Canaday didn't work out. He has been the guy ever since. Last season, he played in every game for the second straight season. Aaron Brewer 2025 contract details, cap hit Brewer re-signed this offseason on a one-year, $1.42 million contract with a signing bonus of $167,500. His salary is not guaranteed. As a qualifying veteran contract, his cap hit will be nearly $1.2 million instead of the full amount of his contract. Questions he faces, roster outlook At this point in his career, the only question is whether he can remain healthy and consistent at age 35. The Cardinals did bring in a trio of long snappers for a tryout on Monday, so that raises some questions, but now with the team for a decade, the job is more or less his until he decides he is done. Pro Football Focus center rankings illustrate value of Aaron Brewer's deal with Dolphins

Pro Football Focus center rankings illustrate value of Aaron Brewer's deal with Dolphins The Miami Dolphins are banking on multiple youngsters morphing into difference makers up front along its offensive line. As the Dolphins navigate forward with some youth, the franchise needs its veteran linemen to be rocks. One of Miami's older heads up front seems to be coming into his own. Sixth-year pro Aaron Brewer is coming off his best season after joining the Dolphins last spring on a three-year, $21 million contract. Brewer's emergence is reflected in Pro Football Focus' latest NFL center rankings. Brewer checks in as the league's No. 7 center according to Mason Cameron. Brewer's move to Miami this past season paved the way for his best season in the NFL. He posted a career-best 74.1 PFF overall grade on a full workload — a top-eight mark at the position. Improvements as a pass protector helped round out his game, as he finished as one of just two qualifying centers to post a 70.0-plus PFF grade as a run blocker and a pass protector. The only other player to hit the mark was Creed Humphrey. - Mason Cameron, Pro Football Focus. Sharing company with the Kansas City Chiefs' Creed Humphrey is certainly a great sign for Miami. Humphrey ranked as PFF's No. 1 center overall. Brewer is likely to share the interior with another veteran and one rookie. The Dolphins selected Arizona offensive lineman Jonah Savaiinaea with their second-round choice in the 2025 NFL draft. Savaiinaea projects as one of the Dolphins' starting guards, joining free agent signee James Daniels who spent the past three seasons in Pittsburgh. Meanwhile, second-year pro Patrick Paul, a second-round draft choice in 2024, is set to slot in as the Dolphins' new starting left tackle. Paul is replacing five-time Pro Bowl left tackle Terron Armstead. Sixth-year pro Austin Jackson projects as the Dolphins' starting right tackle.
