Posting a video on X to confirm his further commitment, Gregory's dedication to helping build the remainder of Texas A&M's 2026 recruiting class aligns with Mike Elko's recent comments regarding the strong foundation the program has established over the last year. On Monday, another 2026 commit who visited this weekend, four-star tight end Caleb Tafua, has joined Gregory and Hatton in shutting down his future visits. Tafua committed to the Aggies on December 1, 2024. OC Collin Klein's tight end-centric offense took center stage last season and is expected to be even more successful in the passing game in 2025, thanks to an influx of talent from the transfer portal and the 2025 signing class. For Tafua, his future as a hybrid tight end who could be an instant threat through the air is in College Station. Tafua has continued to garner attention from several programs, primarily due to his elite athletic profile as a standout basketball and volleyball player, which has enhanced his ability as a receiver, with impressive quickness evident in his route running. As long as OC Collin Klein is running Texas A&M's offense, the Aggies need as many skilled route runners as possible, so loading up at wide receiver in the 2026 cycle is key to future success. this week, it was revealed that 2026 four-star WR Jayden Warren out of Iowa Colony HS has set up future official visits to TCU (May 30), SMU (June 6), Houston (June 12), and Texas A&M (June 20), as well as Nebraska (June 14) and Oklahoma (June 28) to finish out the summer. Outside of his play on the gridiron, Warren, like many new-age wide receivers, has excelled in Track & Field, winning the Texas District 20-5A 100-meter and 200-meter championships as a junior with times of 10.16 and 21.48. During his 2024 junior season, Warren reeled in 26 receptions for 613 yards and 14 touchdowns, including 23.6 yards per reception. Due to his track speed, Warren's ability to gain chunk yards on short passes makes him one of the most sought-after receivers in the state, with the ability to become a star in the right system during his sophomore or junior season.
