At the recent launch of the song Money Money from Ajay Devgn 's upcoming film ' Raid 2 ,' rapper and music producer Yo Yo Honey Singh shared an interesting anecdote about his hit track ' Aata Majhi Satakli ' from Singham Returns . He revealed that the chartbuster was composed in just 24 hours. Adding a humorous twist, he admitted that he arrived four hours late for the session. In conversation with Hindustan Times, Honey Singh shared, 'I want to thank Bhushan ji for this opportunity. He has always believed in me. I just have one complaint—he always calls me for a song at the last minute. You won't believe it, but I composed Ajay Sir's last song, 'Aata Majhi Satakli', from 'Singham Returns' in just 24 hours! Thankfully, for this song, we got more than 24 hours. Raj Kumar Gupta, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak came to Delhi to meet me". Recalling an incident During the event, Honey Singh spoke about an incident from the time he worked on 'Aata Majhi Satakli'. He mentioned that he had arrived four hours late on set and had expected to be scolded. However, Ajay Devgn greeted him warmly, which left a lasting impression on him. Singh said that this gesture made him admire Ajay Devgn not just as an actor but also as a person. Reflecting on the experience, he shared that he made sure to be punctual on the sets of 'Raid 2' and has since corrected many of his past mistakes, learning valuable lessons about professionalism and longevity in the industry. Ajay as an IRS officer in 'Raid 2' Devgn returns as the relentless IRS officer in Raid 2, with Vaani Kapoor playing a key role alongside him. Actor Ajay Devgn and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh released a new track from the former's upcoming thriller Raid 2, 'Money Money', amid much fanfare on Tuesday evening. However, this wasn't the first time the duo collaborated. Singh also crooned the popular 'Aata Majhi Satakli' song from another Ajay-led sequel, Singham Returns, in 2014. At the song launch of 'Money Money', Singh recalled how he got merely 24 hours to compose and record 'Aata Majhi Satakli'. Bhushan Kumar, head honcho of T-Series, approached him at the last minute for the promotional song. Singh also featured in the music video alongside the film's lead pair, Ajay and Kareena Kapoor. When the singer turned up four hours late for the shoot, he feared he'd get an earful from Ajay. ' Mujhe laga uss din mujhe maar padne waali hai! (I thought I'll get a beating today). But Ajay Devgn sir met me very warmly. I became an even bigger fan than him. I am a fan of not just Ajay Devgn the actor but also Ajay Devgn the human being,' he said. Singh added that Bhushan approached him in the eleventh hour for 'Money Money' as well. However, luckily, he got a little above 24 hours to compose and record the song. 'On the sets of Raid 2, I came on time (laughs)! Maine apni kaafi galtiyan sudhari hai (I have tried to correct many of my mistakes). I have learned a lot from them (Ajay), especially if you want to have a long run in the industry,' said Singh. The music video features Singh alongside Ajay and Jacqueline Fernandez. Raid 2 also features a dance number ' Nasha ' featuring Tamannaah Bhatia. Helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Saurabh Shukla, and Amit Sial among others. It's a sequel to the hit thriller Raid, which was released in 2018 and also starred Saurabh Shukla and Ileana D'Cruz. It was inspired by a real-life raid conducted by the officers of the Income Tax Department in the 1980s. Ileana played Ajay's wife in the movie. Raid 2 is set to hit theatres on May 1. While the first film starred Kajal Aggarwal opposite Ajay, the sequel introduced Kareena Kapoor as Ajay's wife. A threequel, Singham Again, released 10 years after the sequel last year. It also featured Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff. The Singham franchise has been helmed by Rohit Shetty.
