Training workshop for planning team in Sana'a Governorate begins
Sana'a - Saba: A two-day training workshop for the planning team at the central and district levels was launched in Sana'a Governorate. The workshop, organized by the governorate's Planning Sector, will involve 45 employees from executive offices and directorates. The workshop aims to familiarize participants with the directions and priorities of the 1447 AH plan and the implementation mechanism for its preparation. It will also include lectures on the procedures and models required at the central and district levels. During the opening ceremony, Governor Abdul Basit Al-Hadi emphasized the importance of planning as a fundamental pillar of development. He called for improving institutional performance through continuous training and highlighted the government's commitment to implementing programs that meet citizens' needs. Mohammed Al-Sanhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Administration and Local Development, also emphasized the importance of completing previous years' projects and identifying priorities for the 1447 AH plan, with the participation of the private sector and zakat. Anwar Sultan, Planning Sector Official, indicated that projects will be identified based on rapid planning and a comprehensive field survey, with the participation of partners from various entities. Meeting of Administrative Board of Sana'a Governorate, agricultural projects and Initiatives Financing Unit
Sana'a - Saba: A joint meeting was held in Sana'a Governorate under the chairmanship of Governor Abdul Basit Al-Hadi, to discuss the final accounts of the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit for the years 2023 and 2024, and the level of implementation of the projects included in the plan for the years 1445-1446 AH at a total cost of one billion and 813 million riyals. The meeting discussed the project of loans to associations and enabling small farmers to establish projects in livestock, in addition to establishing central markets to market agricultural products, providing drying beds and screens for sorting and filtering coffee, rehabilitating the Hatarish nursery and supporting manufacturing industries in the governorate. The Governor stressed the importance of prioritizing projects and distributing them according to needs, stressing the support for economic empowerment projects and enhancing the role of productive families through good loans, with a focus on developing the agricultural sector and improving services. The Executive Director of the unit Engineer Ali Al-Qairi reviewed the most prominent difficulties faced by the work, praising the support of the local authority and its emphasis on overcoming obstacles to achieve the goals of the agricultural and development revolution.
