Sharjah Quran Complex discusses ways to cooperate with Mufti of Poland
The Holy Quran Complex in Sharjah discussed ways to enhance cooperation in serving the Holy Qur'an and its sciences, and introducing its knowledge heritage and its studies with the Grand Mufti of the Republic of Poland, head of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Religious Union, Tomasz Miśkiewicz. This came during his visit to the Holy Quran Complex, where he was received by Dr Abdullah Khalaf Al Hosani, Secretary-General of the complex. Tomasz Miśkiewicz, the Grand Mufti of Poland, reviewed the role of the complex and its strategy in serving the Holy Qur'an, its sciences, prominent figures, and scientific projects, in addition to its Quranic museums that introduce the Quranic legacy, and recount the history of writing the Holy Qur'an and its sciences, and the Sharjah Global Electronic Quran Academy, which is an educational beacon that keeps pace with modern developments and technologies in education, and covers 172 countries around the world. Dr Abdullah AlHosani, Secretary-General of the Complex, welcomed Tomasz Miśkiewicz, the Mufti of the Republic of Poland, expressing his happiness with this visit, which opens avenues of cooperation in serving the Book of God and introducing its knowledge heritage. The Grand Mufti of Poland expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his unlimited support for this global Quranic edifice, which serves the Book of God, defines Islamic culture, and contributes to teaching the Arabic language. He pointed out that the efforts of Sheikh Sultan in this field are great and clear, to preserve the great historical, scientific, and knowledge heritage of the Holy Qur'an and introduce it to the world. He said, "We look forward to comprehensive and integrated cooperation between the Supreme Council of the Islamic Religious Union in Poland and the Holy Quran Academy to introduce Islam and the Holy Qur'an and its sciences. The Grand Mufti of Poland gifted the complex a copy of the Quran with translated meanings in the Polish language.' WAM

Uzbekistan gifts copy of "Katta Langar" to Holy Qur'an Academy

Dr. Al Hosani provided an in-depth presentation of the Academy's initiatives, including Qur'anic research, the Sharjah Global Digital Qur'an Recitation Platform, and various museums, conferences, and symposia focused on Qur'anic readings and interpretation Strengthening educational cooperation Dr. Abdulkhalikov praised the Academy's global educational impact and expressed hope for collaborative efforts between his Centre and the Academy to further support Islamic scholarship. About the Katta Langar Manuscript Named after the Langar Ota Mosque in Uzbekistan's Qashqadaryo region, the manuscript is believed to date back to the late 8th century CE, coinciding with the foundational development of Arabic grammar. Manuscript features and preservation The manuscript is written on vellum from polished calfskin, measuring 52.5 × 34.0 cm per page. It is transcribed in Hijazi Kufic script—the oldest form of Arabic calligraphy. Eighty-one of its folios are currently housed at the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

The discussion also highlighted the comprehensive rhetorical interpretation of the Quran, focusing on presenting vocabulary meanings and providing clear, concise explanations of terms in an easy-to-understand manner. Exploring the beauty and rhetorical impact of the Quranic text The seminar also delved into the secrets of the beauty of the Quranic text and its profound rhetorical impact. It addressed how the Holy Quran carefully selects words, meticulously choosing meanings, and beautifully employing them in rhetorical terms to convey deep lessons and messages. Sharjah delegation reviews Bahrain's experience in serving Quran
The delegation included His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Khalaf Al Hosani, Secretary General of the Holy Quran Academy; His Excellency Khalifa Hassan Khalaf, Director of the Holy Quran Radio and Channel; Dr. Faisal Al Suwaidi, Director of the Museums and Corporate Communication and Marketing Departments; Hassan Ibrahim Al Hosani, Director of the Programmes Department of the Holy Quran Radio and Channel; Abdullah Yousef Al Ali, Head of the Television Programmes Evaluation Department; and Salem Ali Thani, Head of the Public Relations Department at the Holy Quran Academy. He added that joint cooperation will shed light on these great efforts in serving the Book of Allah, and to confirm the pioneering role of media in conveying this cognitive and civilizational legacy to the world, in addition to highlighting Sharjah's cognitive and cultural role, as a result of the insightful vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who attaches great importance to spreading the sciences and teachings of the Holy Quran, and renewing the commitment to continue cooperation and coordination, to support all Quranic projects.
