Men in court accused of Darnall 'hit and run' murder of boy

Two men charged with murdering a 16-year-old pedestrian in a hit-and-run and three counts of attempted murder have appeared in Yaser Abdullah Al Yazidi, 16, died in hospital after being hit by an Audi while walking down Staniforth Road in Darnall, Sheffield, on 4 Ahmed, 20, and Armaan Ahmed, 26, both of Locke Drive in Sheffield, are each charged with one count of murder and three counts of attempted men appeared at Sheffield Magistrates' Court earlier, where they were not asked to enter a plea. They were remanded in custody to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday.
