Nama Water Services announces 800+ new jobs
Muscat – Nama Water Services has announced over 800 new job opportunities in the projects sector for support companies, including consultants and contractors implementing strategic projects across Oman's governorates.
The announcement, made during a media briefing at the company's main water monitoring and control centre in Bousher, is part of efforts to enhance Omanisation by engaging national talent in technical and administrative fields such as project management, engineering, health and safety, and surveying.
Valued at more than one billion Omani rials, these projects include expanding water transmission and distribution networks, constructing new water and sewage systems, and developing smart monitoring systems.
CEO Qais bin Saud Al Zakwani said the initiative links employment directly to the needs of current water and sanitation projects, offering Omani youth opportunities to gain practical skills and experience. Eng. Abdullah bin Salem Al Rasbi, CEO of Development Projects, added that the new hires will bring real added value to the sector, ensuring knowledge transfer and sustainable performance.
