Al-Fagaan: Enhancing operational efficiency to align with advancements in global aviation industry KUWAIT: Kuwait Airways Chairman Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan held a meeting with Rolls-Royce during a delegation visit to Derby, United Kingdom. The discussion focused on enhancing the operational systems and mechanisms of Kuwait Airways' aircraft engines, as well as the latest developments regarding the rapid availability of engine spare parts. Kuwait Airways Chairman Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan stated that Kuwait Airways' participation at the meeting reflects the company's ongoing efforts to discuss enhancing the operational efficiency and performance of its aircraft. KUWAIT CITY, March 3: Kuwait Airways has been ranked 20th among the top 109 airlines in the world and 5th in the Middle East, according to the annual report issued by the AirHelp website for the best and worst performing airlines in 2024. The airline achieved 88% in On-Time performance, 85% in customer opinions, 43% in claim processing, and a 72% score on the Air- Help website. The report was based on collecting the opinions of passengers from more than 54 countries around the world, rating airlines on five factors consisting of cabin crew service, aircraft comfort during travel, aircraft cleanliness, quality of food menus, and entertainment programs onboard during the period from beginning of January to end of October 2024. Kuwait Airways Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan stated, 'Kuwait Airways is pleased to achieve 20th position globally and 5th in the Middle East among the best airlines for 2024. These results are the outcome of the success and tremendous efforts made by Kuwait Airways employees throughout the past year, particularly during the summer season of 2024. Their dedicatedeffortshave been key in enabling the company to achieve these distinguished positions worldwide.' Al-Fagaan explained that the report issued in 2023 did not include Kuwait Airways, emphasizing that the airline's presence in 2024 in this prominent position highlights the company's commitment to enhancing its operational system.
