She's reportedly employed with a Gurugram-based firm. 'In her complaint, she said she received a call from a male friend on Sunday, inviting her to a party at a friend's house in Civil Lines. She accepted the invitation and went to the house near Under Hill Road,' the officer said. There she met her friend, another acquaintance and two other men. 'She said all of them drank and partied together till late night. She said that sometime during the night, her drink was spiked and she became semi-conscious,' the officer reportedly said. Police cited the woman a saying that the four men took her to the washroom and gang-raped her. 'The woman said she was thrashed by the suspects and they also filmed the act,' the officer was quoted as saying. The suspects allegedly threatened to upload the video on social media if she reported the matter to police. 'The men dropped her outside her house and left. The woman then called the police and reported the matter. A woman official attended to the call and took her for a medical examination,' the officer said. Police said her parents were informed and she was counselled. Based on the woman's complaint, a case of rape was registered and an investigation was launched. 'The team visited the house in Civil Lines, but the accused were missing. Teams are out looking for them,' police told HT. In another incident, a 32-year-old assistant manager, Abhilash Kumar, was arrested for allegedly masturbating to a woman waiting for a cab at Rajiv Chowk on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway, police said on Monday. The incident reportedly happened on August 2, when the woman, who turned out to be an Instagram influencer, was waiting for a cab at Rajiv Chowk after getting off a bus coming from Jaipur. The woman allegedly found the man masturbating while standing in public, made a video of the act, and shared it on social media. The Gurugram Police have arrested a 32-year-old man who was caught on camera allegedly masturbating in front of a model in a busy intersection of the city, reported India Today on Tuesday. The report added that the arrest was made days after the model uploaded a video of the masked man flashing her while she was waiting for a cab. Identified as Abhilash Kumar, the accused works as an assistant manager at a private firm. He was arrested by the police based on the observation of several CCTV footage and technical investigation. Earlier on 5 August, the model posted a video on Instagram, following which the police swung into action. As per the details, the incident took place on 2 August. According to her post, the man began circling her while she was waiting for her ride. 'He kept staring at me, and I noticed his behaviour was deliberate. I felt disgusted and unsafe,' she said in a video posted on Instagram. She later shared photos of the man and recounted her experience online. She also criticised the lack of immediate police response In the video, the woman stated that she had come from Jaipur and was waiting for a cab at Rajiv Chowk, a busy intersection in Gurugram. Adding more, she alleged that the a man approached her and kept staring. He soon unzipped his pants and allegedly masturbated on her. The woman even claimed that despite several attempts to contact the police and a women's helpline, she received no immediate help. On being questioned, the accused stated he was married, had a son, and lived in a rented house. He mentioned he was returning from his son's school when he stopped at Rajiv Chowk. The police said he confessed to the crime. Meanwhile, the police will produce the accused before a court on Wednesday for further proceedings.

Man arrested for masturbating at woman in Gurgaon over a week after she shares ordeal in viral clip
Nearly a week after a video by a woman, which showed her sharing a distressing experience of a man masturbating at her near Rajiv Chowk, was widely shared on social media, police on Monday arrested the accused from Sector 49 in Gurgaon. The accused has been identified as Abhilash Kumar (32). 'A police team, led by Inspector Krishna and ASI Mamta, analysed footage from hundreds of CCTV cameras near the incident site and employed technical investigation to identify the accused. On Monday, the team apprehended the suspect from Sector 49 in Gurgaon. Kumar, an graduate who works at a private company, resides as a tenant in Sector-11,' a police spokesperson said. During questioning, the officers said, Kumar allegedly admitted that he had stopped at Rajiv Chowk while returning from a parent-teacher meeting at his son's school on August 2. He was heading to his rented accommodation when he allegedly committed the offence. In her video, the woman while sharing her ordeal alleged that she was harassed while waiting for a cab at Rajiv Chowk after arriving from Jaipur by bus. She had recorded the incident and shared it online. The clip showed a masked man staring at her and making lewd gestures. The video had gone viral on August 5. 'Something very strange happened to me. A man came around, and he was constantly staring at me. Initially, I just ignored it, like the others do…,' she is heard saying in the clip. She noticed that the man, with his pants unzipped, was allegedly masturbating at her. The video showed the man wearing a facemask and a backpack that he had slung over his chest to cover the act. In her clip, she also alleged initial information after she had tagged the police and other government authorities while putting the video on X. She said she had called the police helpline too. 'There wasn't even an automated message,' she said. Taking cognisance of the clip, the Civil Lines Police Station in Gurgaon had registered an FIR on August 5 in the matter, invoking sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, relating to stalking and sexual harassment. 'The investigation is ongoing,' the police spokesperson added. The accused will be produced before a court on Tuesday for further proceedings, officers said.
