"During Covid...": UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Backs Virtual Education In Schools
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) , May 26 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday remembered the Covid pandemic period and emphasized how the government had connected the schools with virtual education during that time. CM Yogi Adityanath on Monday inaugurated the newly constructed buildings and additional dormitories of 139 upgraded Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas in Lucknow. CM Yogi also laid the foundation stone of 43 Chief Minister Model Composite Schools and 66 Chief Minister Abhyudaya Composite Schools. Furthermore, CM Yogi informed that summer camps are being organized in all the government schools of the state which is an "innovation". CM Yogi stated that he gave a presentation on the steps that the government has taken to revive dilapidated schools in Uttar Pradesh during the NDA CM conclave held in New Delhi on Sunday. "During Covid, we connected schools with virtual education. Now technology has advanced a lot, so it is very helpful... Similarly, summer camps in all government schools is a new effort, it is an innovation. Yesterday, a meeting of Chief Ministers was held in Delhi, the Deputy Chief Minister was also present in it, we gave a presentation on the steps we have taken to revive dilapidated schools in Uttar Pradesh, this has changed the lives of lakhs of children, thousands of people have got employment due to this", he said during the event. UPSC results: 13 from Uttar Pradesh govt's flagshipAbhyudaya coaching scheme make it to list
Lucknow: Thirteen students, who prepared under the Uttar Pradesh govt's flagship Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Coaching Scheme , are among the successful candidates in Tuesday's Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Exam 2024 results. The scheme aims to help students from underprivileged backgrounds prepare for competitive exams at centres close to their homes, free of cost. It was launched in Feb 2021, and 59 candidates have cleared the UPSC exams since then. In addition, 121 students cleared the UP PCS exams. An official from the department of social welfare, which is spearheading the programme, said out of 13, four candidates took coaching at the Lucknow centre and two in Prayagraj. Abhyudaya coaching is conducted in 166 centres across all 75 districts of the state. Training is provided for competitive exams like NEET, IIT/JEE and NDA. Besides helping students with preparations for the main exams, mock interviews are held to help them prepare holistically. Retired and serving bureaucrats hold classes to provide in-depth, experience-based knowledge to students. "By providing high-quality education and coaching, this scheme empowers students towards self-reliance. He mentioned that 280 candidates were preparing for the PCS Mains exam under the coaching centres operated by the Abhyudaya Scheme. Kumar Prashant, director of the social welfare department said: "The objective of the Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Coaching Scheme is to provide talented youth from remote and economically weaker sections of the state with the same opportunities available in larger cities. The selection of our 13 students in a prestigious exam like UPSC is proof that with the right guidance and resources, no goal is too far. This is a moment of pride for all of us."

Lucknow, Apr 22 (UNI) The Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Coaching Yojana has once again caught everyone's attention with its impressive results as in the final result of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination 2024, 13 meritorious students studying under this scheme achieved success and increased the prestige of Uttar Pradesh, official sources said here. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated all the successful candidates and their parents on passing the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024. Saumya Sharma (Pratapgarh) with 218th rank, Prateek Mishra (Prayagraj) with 234th rank and Anchal Anand (Gautam Buddha Nagar) with 399th rank have brought laurels to the state," they said. Sources said that apart from this, Ashwani Shukla (Jalaun) was 423rd rank, Udit Kumar Singh (Prayagraj) with 668th rank, Disha Dwivedi (Lucknow) with 672nd rank, Manish Kumar (Lucknow) with 748th rank, Himanshu Mohan (Ayodhya) with 821st rank and Nancy Singh (Lucknow) with 970th rank are a testament to the success of Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana.
