Mona Zaki and Kamla Abu Zekri Reunite After 19 Years for a New Cinematic Comedy Titled Rizk El Hebl
After 19 years apart, acclaimed actress Mona Zaki reunites with director Kamla Abu Zekri for a new cinematic project. The duo last collaborated in the 2006 film About Love and Passion, and now they're teaming up once again for Rizk El Hebl, a social comedy written by George Azmy and produced by Shahinaz El Akkad.
Filming is set to begin soon, with final preparations and location scouting currently underway. The film is expected to hit theaters later this year.
This project also marks Mona Zaki's return to comedy, a genre in which she's long excelled, with memorable roles in Saidi Fe El Gama'a El Americia, Taymour and Shafika and Abo Aly, 30 Years Ago, and The Spider. Rizk El Hebl promises a fresh comedic twist within a socially driven storyline, showcasing Zaki's signature charm and versatility once again.
