4 May 2025 17:07 ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)In the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, the Abu Dhabi Youth Council, in collaboration with Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, has organised a youth circle titled Health Awareness Among Youth: A Foundation for Quality of Life, with the participation of more than 95 young men and women from across Abu session aimed to empower youth to play an active role in the advancement of the healthcare sector in Abu Dhabi by deepening their understanding of national health challenges, keeping pace with scientific progress and harnessing their skills to help build a sustainable and health-conscious society aligned with national Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Mohammed Al Nahyan expressed his appreciation to the Abu Dhabi Youth Council and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City for the successful organisation of youth circle and the delivery of meaningful also commended the UAE's efforts in promoting health awareness and emphasised the importance of investing in youth engagement within the healthcare sector, recognising them as key partners in building a healthier and more sustainable youth circle addressed several key themes, including the importance of health awareness as a national priority in the lives of youth, the role of innovation and national talent in developing the healthcare sector, supporting genetic research to develop health-ready generation, and the launch of strategic initiatives aimed to engage youth in the public health session was moderated by Saif Al Mansoori, Chair of the Abu Dhabi Youth Council, and featured speakers Khalid Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Federal Youth Authority, Rashid Obaid Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center, Marwan Al Kaabi, CEO of Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, and Professor Habiba Al Safar, Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at Khalifa the end of the session, the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre and the Abu Dhabi Youth Council announced a forthcoming collaboration aimed at engaging youth from the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in the Public Health Ambassadors initiative seeks to promote public health and health education by empowering youth and enabling their participation as active ambassadors. 4 Mar 2025 13:13 ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)Abu Dhabi Youth Council has concluded its sixth cycle (2023-2025), marking a journey of achievements that strengthened youth engagement and enabled them to contribute effectively to the nation's this cycle, the council implemented more than 60 initiatives and activities, benefiting more than 2,500 young men and women, strengthened partnerships with more than 55 entities, expanded its engagement with more than 80 youth councils, and maintained regular dialogue with more than 400 young the recently held Youth Councils Forum, organised by the Federal Youth Authority and attended by several esteemed dignitaries, Abu Dhabi Youth Council was honoured with the Best Innovative Initiative Award for its recognition of the council's impactful efforts, Chair Ghalya Ahmed Al Ali was named among the top three youth council members nationwide, receiving the Best Youth Council Member the level of subsidiary youth councils, Saeed Aswad Al Ameri, a member of the Al Dhafra Youth Council, won the award for Best Distinguished Member. In second place was Musallem Hmoud Al Derei, Chair of the Al Ain Youth Council, and in third place was Latefa Hamdan Al Mansoori, Chair of the Al Dhafra Youth of Abu Dhabi Youth Council said: "The achievements of Abu Dhabi Youth Council during this cycle are not just numbers; they are a testament to the power of youth in driving change when given the right opportunities. Our success today is the result of our leadership's unwavering belief in youth potential and the collective efforts of our partners across various sectors. We are confident that the new council will continue to build on these achievements, ensuring that youth remain at the heart of development and the future."Abu Dhabi Youth Council member and key contributor to the platform, Nasser Al Mansoori, said, " was created to empower Emirati youth, offering them new opportunities to develop their skills and achieve sustainable income.
