Amran gas supply inspected ahead of Ramadan
Amran - Saba: The Yemeni Gas Company conducted on Thursday a field visit to gas filling stations in Amran province, assessing the gas supply situation and its stability in preparation for Ramadan. First Underseccary Abdulaziz Abu Kharfsha, along with gas company and local directorate officials, inspected gas sales processes and the adherence of stations and pumps to providing citizens' needs at official prices around the clock. Abu Kharfsha emphasized the importance of ensuring compliance with technical standards, approved weights, and safety requirements. He stressed that legal measures would be taken against any violations, ensuring citizens' access to gas in a safe and efficient manner. He stated that the inspection campaign reflects the commitment of the local authority, Ministry of Oil and Minerals, and the gas company to secure gas supplies, particularly during Ramadan, and maintain supply stability across the province. Abu Kharfsha contrasted the stable gas supply in Amran with the crisis in occupied provinces, attributing the latter to corruption and gas smuggling by mercenaries. Head of the company's field inspection team Wael Jawah explained that the inspection aligns with company plans and directives from the Ministry of Oil and Minerals to ensure adequate gas supply. The inspection process includes verifying weights, legal cylinder filling, and safety systems at gas pumps, protecting citizens' lives and property, and taking legal action against violators.
