Palestinian Presidency Warns of the Dangers of Al-Aqsa Mosque Raids - Jordan News

Palestinian presidential spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeineh has warned of the grave dangers posed by the continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people — whether through what he described as genocide in Gaza or the ongoing raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the raising of the Israeli flag alongside the performance of religious rituals in its courtyards. اضافة اعلان In remarks reported by the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), Abu Rudeineh called on the U.S. administration to take serious action to halt both the war in Gaza and the increasing attacks in the occupied West Bank, including in Jerusalem. He stressed that regional peace and stability are contingent on a just resolution of the Palestinian cause in line with international legitimacy, reiterating that violence in the region will persist until Palestinians secure their legitimate rights, most notably self-determination and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. Regarding the upcoming international conference on Palestine, scheduled for mid-next month in New York, Abu Rudeineh affirmed that preparations are ongoing to ensure its success by supporting a two-state solution based on the Arab Peace Initiative, and by urging countries that have not yet recognized Palestine to do so in support of its realization on the ground.

Israel expels residents of three West Bank refugee camps

Israel has expelled the residents of three refugee camps in the occupied West Bank as it steps up a major month-long operation in the Palestinian territory. Israel's Defence Minister Israel Katz said the camps in Jenin, Tulkarm and Nur Shams were now "empty" and would be occupied by the Israeli military for the coming Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it has deployed a tank division around the city of Jenin - the first time it has done so since 2002. The Palestinian Authority condemned the UN said earlier this month that Israel's operation, which began on 21 January and was intensified in recent days, had led to the "forced displacement" of 40,000 people. "So far, 40,000 Palestinians have evacuated from the refugee camps of Jenin, Tulkarem, and Nur Shams, which are now empty of residents," Israel Katz said in a statement."I have instructed [troops] to prepare for a prolonged presence in the cleared camps for the coming year and to prevent the return of residents and the resurgence of terrorism."He also said that Israel had instructed the UN's Palestinian refugee agency (Unrwa) to stop operating in the Abu Rudeineh, a spokesman for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, described the decision to deploy tanks as a "dangerous Israeli escalation that will not lead to stability or calm".The IDF said in a statement that its forces are "continuing the operation to thwart terrorism" and are expanding their "offensive activity" - which so far has involved drones, tanks, special forces, border police, and operatives from the intelligence agency Shin Bet. The UN said on Thursday that since Israeli operations began on 21 January, 51 Palestinians, including seven children, have been killed in Jenin, Tulkarm and Tubas governorates, as well as three Israeli offensive has caused severe damage to water and sanitation infrastructure, disrupting access to water to "tens of thousands of people", it Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Tulkarm refugee camp on Friday and ordered the army to intensify "operational activity", his office said."We are entering terrorist strongholds, flattening entire streets that terrorists use, and their homes. We are eliminating terrorists, commanders," Netanyahu said. Palestinian Presidency Warns of Full-Scale War on Northern West Bank and Gaza - Jordan News

The official spokesperson for the Palestinian Presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, warned against the continued comprehensive war by the Israeli occupation authorities on the Palestinian people and land in the West Bank, especially in the Jenin Governorate and its refugee camp, as well as in the Tulkarem Governorate and its refugee camps, where further crimes of killing, displacement, and destruction of property are being committed. اضافة اعلان Abu Rudeineh stated that the occupation forces are conducting a systematic campaign of house demolitions and displacement of citizens, leading to the martyrdom of dozens of citizens and the injury of hundreds, amid international silence regarding the occupation's plans to implement its annexation and racial expansion agenda, continuing the crimes of genocide committed in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom, injury, and displacement of more than 200,000 citizens. Abu Rudeineh called for U.S. intervention to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people and land, urging that the U.S. not encourage further escalation, which could lead to uncontrollable developments and consequences for all involved. The official spokesperson for the presidency emphasized that the Palestinian people will not accept any plans, whether through displacement or alternative homeland schemes. He added that threatening the Palestinian people would not benefit anyone, but instead lead to widespread destruction, both locally and in the region. The spokesperson also condemned the Israeli authorities' decision to tender contracts for the construction of 974 new colonial settlement units in the "Efrat" settlement, considering it an extension of the occupation's plans to impose facts on the ground. He reaffirmed that all forms of colonization are illegal and violate international legitimacy, which calls for their removal. He stressed that expanding colonial settlements directly contributes to entrenching Israel's apartheid system and is part of efforts to impose unilateral and illegal measures to undermine any potential for peace based on international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative. 'Palestine not for sale': Palestinian Presidency fires back at Trump

Palestinian presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said Thursday in a statement that 'Palestine—its land, history, and holy sites—is not for sale and is not an investment project,' emphasizing that the rights of the Palestinian people are non-negotiable and not a bargaining chip. 'The Palestinian people, who have made great sacrifices to defend their legitimate national rights and preserve their independent decision-making, represented by the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) as the sole legitimate representative, will not relinquish an inch of their land—whether in Gaza or the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, the capital of Palestine,' the statement said. He stressed that neither the Palestinian leadership nor its people will allow a repeat of the 1948 and 1967 displacements and will thwart any attempts to eliminate the Palestinian cause under the guise of investment projects. Abu Rudeineh pointed out that international and Arab responses to US proposals for Palestinian displacement have demonstrated a unified stance grounded in international law and legitimacy, while the US administration stands alone with a different approach. He also noted that voices within the US Congress and even in 'Israel' have dismissed such plans as unfeasible. The Palestinian Presidency rejected any alternative solutions imposed from 'any other place or any other person'.

Palestinian Presidency affirms that Palestine is not for sale

Ammon News - The official spokesman for the Palestinian presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said that Palestine, with its land, history and holy sites, is not for sale, and it is not an investment project, and the rights of the Palestinian people are not negotiable and are not a bargaining chip. Abu Rudeineh added that our Palestinian people, who have made great sacrifices in defense of their legitimate national rights and in order to preserve their independent national decision represented by the Palestine Liberation Organization, the sole legitimate representative of our people, will not give up an inch of their land, whether in the Gaza Strip or the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Palestine. He continued, "The Palestinian people and their leadership will not allow the repetition of the catastrophes of 1948 and 1967, and will thwart any plan aimed at liquidating their just cause through investment projects whose place is neither in Palestine nor on its land." The official spokesman for the presidency pointed out that the Arab and international response to the US administration's plans to displace the Palestinians proved that the entire world speaks one language stemming from international legitimacy and international law, while the US administration alone speaks a different language, and there are American voices, members of Congress, and Israeli voices that consider this project unworkable. Abu Rudeineh reiterated that achieving peace, security, and stability stems from Palestine, specifically from its capital, Jerusalem, with its Islamic and Christian sanctities, and not from anywhere else, nor by any decision from anyone. He pointed out that President Mahmoud Abbas, in an official statement, praised the positions of Arab and international countries that reject calls for displacement or annexation, stressing that there is no alternative to political solutions based on international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative, for a lasting and stable peace that achieves security and stability for the countries of the region.
