Qassam: Assassination policy to add more steadiness, strength

Gaza - Saba: On the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the Palestinian national leader and former head of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Ismail Haniyeh, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the movement's military wing, affirmed that time has proven that the Israeli enemy's policy of assassinating Hamas leaders and symbols has only strengthened its adherence to the rights and aspirations of its people, its constants and national principles, and its entrenchment in its struggle and resistance until the enemy is defeated and eliminated from Palestinian lands and holy sites. The Al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): 'The martyr leader's career was full of tireless work and preparation in the fields of organizational, student, popular, political, and resistance work, in service of our people, their national cause, and their aspirations for liberation and return, from the very beginning, following the first blessed Intifada in 1987, through all the stages of struggle and resistance, and the fields of politics and joint national action, as prime minister and leader of the movement's political bureau, and in confronting the enemy, deportation, siege, and aggression, until he ascended as a martyr far from his homeland, his heart and soul residing in the proud Gaza Strip, and fluttering in the lofty city of Quds and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.' The Al-Qassam Brigades affirmed that the blood of the martyr leader 'Abu al-Abd' that was shed on the land of Tehran, and his pure body that was buried in the soil of Doha, and his political and diplomatic tours in the countries of the Arab and Islamic world, will remain a witness to his biography and his career full of sacrifices and work. The tireless and political struggle for our people, our just national cause, and the unity of the Palestinian ranks will continue to live on, steadfast, as shining landmarks and a guiding beacon for generations of our people and the masses of our nation in defending rights and constants, seizing freedom and independence, and liberating the land and holy sites. The Brigades said: "His martyrdom was not a passing event, but rather a pivotal moment that confirmed that the leaders of the resistance, at the heart of the battle, are offering their sons as martyrs—just as Leader Haniyeh offered a constellation of his sons and grandchildren—and are concluding their lives with martyrdom on the path to Quds, just as he himself concluded his life, joining the caravan of founding martyr leaders and his comrades in the Al-Aqsa Flood. "We remember with pain, love, pride, honor, and loyalty the first anniversary of the passing of our great leader, the living martyr of Palestine and the nation. His melodious voice as he recited verses from Al Imran, Al Tawbah, and Al Anfal, his popular presence, and his immortal words: 'The fortresses will not fall, the strongholds will not be breached, they will not seize our positions, and we will not recognize Israel.' His well-known fingerprints on the path of our people, his leadership of our movement during an important and pivotal phase, and his confident and competent confrontation of challenges and obstacles at all stages of the conflict with the enemy, leading up to the Al Aqsa Intifada and the negotiation process to end and halt the aggression on the Gaza Strip. The Al Qassam Brigades stated that, out of loyalty to the martyred leader Ismail Haniyeh, we must continue to emphasize the call of our people, our nation, and free people around the world to make August 3 of each year a global national day in support of Gaza, Quds, Al Aqsa, and the prisoners, and to continue the movement until the war of extermination ends. and starvation against our people in the Gaza Strip, until the occupation is expelled from all our land and our people achieve their freedom. She concluded her statement by saying: "May God have mercy on the mujahid leader Ismail Haniyeh, the great martyr of Palestine and the nation, and on all the martyred leaders in our people's ongoing march. May He grant them the highest place in Paradise, with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous. What excellent companions they are." Whatsapp Telegram Email Print
