Aces for Autism hosts 3rd annual banquet with guest speaker Parker Byrd
WILSON, N.C. (WNCT) — Aces for Autism is a non-profit treatment and educational center dedicated to empowering families and individuals impacted by autism. On Monday Night, many people gathered to support ACES for Autism at their 3rd annual Wilson banquet. One guest speaker was Parker Byrd, an ECU Baseball player who lost his leg in a boating accident. He now continues to inspire others with his story.
'Im gonna tell my story and I'm gonna just tell them that, you know, God has a plan for all of us', said Byrd. 'That just because you go through stuff in life doesn't mean that your life's over and all of us are faced with adversity at some point'…..'ACES is a tremendous organization they pour into so many families lives throughout, specifically here in North Carolina. In Wilson and they also have one in Greenville. But it's just such an honor To, you know, come and talk to amazing people, amazing families, that represent such an amazing organization.'
