‘F****** hell Rio' – Laura Woods drops F-bomb as Rio Ferdinand ruins her intro in unseen Champions League final footage
LAURA WOODS dropped an F-bomb while working on the Champions League final as Rio Ferdinand ruined her intro. The match saw Paris Saint-Germain thrash Inter Milan 5-0 in Munich. 5 5 5 5 5 Before the game, Woods - who has returned to presenting duties on TNT Sports after having a baby with former Love Island star Adam Collard - was practicing her introduction before going live on air. But Woods' attempt ended in disaster as she was interrupted by Ferdinand - who was working on his final game for TNT Sports. Woods, 37, shared a video of the pre-broadcast footage to her social media. In it she can be seen talking through her interview with a microphone to her mouth before Ferdinand walks across the shot. As the former Manchester United star ambles across, the frustrated presenter then said: "F***ing hell Rio," before slamming her microphone down and laughing to herself. Woods then joked "that was going to be some of my best work ever," before Ferdinand walked back in front. The 46-year-old then playfully takes the microphone away from Woods just as she starts to explain she was doing a practice take. The pair are heard having a laugh, with Ferdinand holding the mic to Woods' mouth with him then pulling it away. Woods is seen cracking up at the prank before the former defender spots the camera next to him and realises he was in shot. Flustered Ferdinand then looks back at Woods and apologises to her for getting in the way before jumping out of frame. Laura Woods gives Adam Collard a telling off as they watch Newcastle vs Arsenal and reveal who their baby is supporting However, the presenter was unable to hold back her laughter and collapsed on the table, with Ferdinand also heard laughing away in the background. The clip ends with Ferdinand apologising again before Woods says: "I wish that was live." During the live broadcast, Woods issued a heartfelt tribute to Ferdinand as he bids farewell after working for them for 10 years as a pundit. She said: "Rio, before we leave, just one final goodbye. "From us here at TNT Sport, to you. That is it for your career here, for now. "Can I just say on behalf of all of us - including everyone behind the camera - you've been an absolute pleasure. "And personally since I joined, you've been so incredibly welcoming. "You'll be sorely, sorely missed."

'The pain was unbearable!' Adam Collard rushed to hospital after losing feeling in his leg
Adam Collard was rushed to hospital in "excruciating pain" after he lost the feeling in his leg. The former 'Love Island' star was found to have a ruptured disc in his back, and has since undergone surgery, which "went well". Adam, 29, took to Instagram to tell fans how it all started when he felt "a tweak" in his back, which sent him into "another level of pain and discomfort". He added: "A stabbing sensation in my right glute and my knee would shake uncontrollably in extension." Adam admitted his back ordeal was "extremely depressing", and at times he "couldn't sit in a chair without pain". The star confessed it affected him "mentally as well as physically" that he couldn't feed his and his fiancée Laura Woods' three-month-old son Leo in bed without being in pain. Adam turned to nerve root blockers and spinal injections, which were "amazing", but he suffered an unexpected setback last week, leaving him in "unbearable pain" and unable to feel his right leg. He said: "Last Wednesday I was driving home for 30 minutes after a full day at work, and by the time I got home I could barely walk into the house. "The pain was unbearable to the point I was biting and screaming into my pillow. "I couldn't find comfort and after an hour I lost the feeling in my right leg all the way down to my toes. "Not able to lift it from the hip. Which was scary and Laura had to ring an ambulance." Adam was rushed to hospital for an MRI, where it was discovered his disc had "ruptured". He underwent lumbar decompression and discectomy surgery, during which his discs were "shaved down", and it "went well". Adam said: "I've already got the feeling back in my leg now which is great now, it's just sore from the wound on my back. "My surgeon said that once he cut in he realised the discs were very bad. One of them had cracked, so it was pushing into my sciatic nerve." Adam is now working on his recovery. He added: "Now the real work begins, a slow build up, full recovery and begin smart around my training for the next 12 months, and probably forever in some cases. "Thank you to those closest to me helping out over the last few months, my friends and family, and all of you lot and your messages reaching out."

Adam Collard reveals terrifying moment he was in 'unbearable pain' as Laura Woods called 999
Love Island star Adam Collard was rushed to hospital and had surgery after he was left 'biting and screaming into a pillow' in 'unbearable' pain before losing all feeling in his leg Adam Collard has revealed the moment his partner Laura Woods was forced to call an ambulance as he was left in 'unbearable pain'. The former Love Island star, 29, revealed yesterday he had been hospitalised and had back surgery. Adam shared photos of himself dressed in a hospital gown and laying in a hospital bed. Following the shocking revelation on his health, new dad Adam, who's fiancée Laura gave birth to their first child in January, has revealed more about the circumstances that saw him eventually left in 'unbearable pain' and 'biting and screaming into a pillow' as his wife-to-be dialled 999. In a series of lengthy Instagram Story posts, Adam explained how he had began experiencing a 'tweak' before it descended into 'another level of pain and discomfort'. After seeking help from physios and osteopaths, he was told the pain was "probably a bit a bit "discy" and was also causing me to have sciatica". Adam was given a plan to go "back to basics, remove stress and strengthen weak points, pain medication to reduce inflammation". He explained the plan saw a "yo-yo of improve a little bit, then go backwards again and be in excruciating pain". The former reality star left "no stone unturned" and was "consistent" with the rehabilitation plan given. Explaining the continuing pain, Adam wrote: "This was extremely depressing to the point where I couldn't sit in a chair without pain. It was either lying flat or standing. Driving the car was a solid 9/10 pain, and even feeling Leo in bed was unbearable because of the slump position of the lumbar spine. Not ideal when you have a newborn... Which got to me mentally as well as physically." He was given painkillers to "help the pain and knock me out" but it meant he was left unable to look after his son, Leo, in the evenings – and if he was to 'skip' taking the medication he would be left in excruciating pain again. Adam then explained: "We then decided to push for Spinal injections, nerve root blockers after lots of research to try and give me some form of relief as it developed to me not being able to get my own socks on after a while and I was still trying to work in the gym." He said the jabs were "amazing" and felt "astonishing progress" on the third day of taking them. Adam added: "After 2 weeks of serious profress and being super content, I was writing a long term plan for the next 6 months on how to train around this and build back up. Strength, limited lowerbody, pilates and core." However, sadly, he was left in unbearable pain one day, which saw Laura, 37, have to call for help. Adam explained: "Then last Wednesday I was driving home for 30 minutes after a full day at work, and by the time I got home I could barely walk into the house. The pain was unbareable to the point I was biting and screaming into my pillow, I couldn't find comfort and after an hour I lost the feeling in my right leg all the way down to my toes. Not able to lift it from the hip. Which was scary and Laura had to ring an ambulance. "After contacting my specialist who did my original spinal injections he got me back in for an MRI to compare the difference in the disc from a month prior. The disc was ruptured and almost fully compressing the siatic nerve, hence the loss of feeling in my right leg. "After this, we opted for Lumbar Decompression and Discectomy operation to shave the discs down and release the nerve." Speaking of the surgery, Adam added: "Surgery went well, I've already got the feeling back in my leg now which is great now it's just sore from the wound on my back. "My surgeon said that once he cut in he realised the discs were very bad. One of them had cracked so it was pushing into my sciatic nerve. Now the real work begins, a slow build up, full recovery and being smart around my training for the next 12 months and probably forever in some cases." He then ended his message by sending thanks to those who have supported him. Adam penned: "Thank you to those closest to me for helping out over the last few months, my friends and family, and all of you lot and your messages reaching out. Adamant not to allow the medical setback get the best of him, he defiantly declared at the end of his post: "Now it's Comeback SZN..."
