BDT & MSD's Piekarski Forms Real Estate Credit Firm Derby Lane
BDT & MSD Partners alum Adam Piekarski is starting anew and has formed Derby Lane Partners, a new real estate credit investment firm, according to a person with knowledge of the matter.
New York-based Derby Lane is expected to begin investing a war chest of over $1 billion in the coming months, said the person, who asked not to be identified discussing private information. The firm plans to invest in senior, floating-rate mortgage loans.
