NFL analyst predicts Panthers will win the NFC South in 2025
The Carolina Panthers have themselves a believer in NFL Network analyst Adam Rank. As he's done in years past, Rank predicted the outcome of every single game for the upcoming campaign. And in what may be a shocker to many, he has the Panthers going 9-8 and knocking off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the NFC South crown. Here's how Rank sorted each of Carolina's contests . . . Week 1 (at Jacksonville Jaguars): Loss Week 2 (at Arizona Cardinals): Win Week 3 (vs. Atlanta Falcons): Win Week 4 (at New England Patriots): Loss Week 5 (vs. Miami Dolphins): Win Week 6 (vs. Dallas Cowboys): Win Week 7 (at New York Jets): Loss Week 8 (vs. Buffalo Bills): Loss Week 9 (at Green Bay Packers): Loss Week 10 (vs. New Orleans Saints): Win Week 11 (at Atlanta Falcons): Loss Week 12 (at San Francisco 49ers): Loss Week 13 (vs. Los Angeles Rams): Win Week 15 (at New Orleans Saints): Win Week 16 (vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers): Win Week 17 (vs. Seattle Seahawks): Win Week 18 (at Tampa Bay Buccaneers): Loss If Rank's forecast comes true, then the Panthers would clinch their first winning season since 2017 and their first division title since 2015. They'd also break a seven-year playoff drought, which currently stands as the longest such streak in franchise history. Each of those seven seasons has come under owner David Tepper, who purchased the team back in 2018. Carolina has gone a combined 36-80 over that span. Adam Rank projects Steelers to finish far below .500 in viral 2025 schedule prediction
The infamous Adam Rank has struck again — predicting an abysmal record for the Pittsburgh Steelers' 2025 season. Rank, known for his outlandish schedule predictions, completed his 2025 game-by-game projection — and the Steelers were estimated to finish 6–11. Here's how Rank predicted each Steelers game would go: The outspoken NFL Network analyst argued that four contests, in particular, would decide the Steelers' chances of finishing above .500: Week 10 at the Los Angeles Chargers, Week 11 vs. the Cincinnati Bengals, Week 13 vs. the Buffalo Bills, and Week 14 at the Baltimore Ravens. He predicted Pittsburgh to lose all four games. One might assume that after the Steelers completed one of the most productive and eventful offseasons in franchise history, respect for their 2025 postseason aspirations would follow. But they would be wrong. Pittsburgh once again has the opportunity to prove the doubters wrong in 2025 — as a playoff win, and potentially a Super Bowl title, hang in the balance of a loaded Steelers roster For up-to-date Steelers coverage, follow us on X @TheSteelersWire and give our Facebook page a like.

Noted Commanders' hater makes his prediction for 2025
Who in the heck is Adam Rank? Officially, Rank is an on-air personality for the NFL Network and a contributor to Rank is also known to fans for predicting every game on the schedule for all 32 teams every summer ahead of training camp. How is he different than anyone else who predicts the outcome of every game? Rank is also a Chicago Bears fan. The Bears, who with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, selected USC quarterback Caleb Williams. With the No. 2 overall pick, the Washington Commanders selected LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels. Daniels would go on to have the better season, winning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and leading the Commanders to the NFC championship game. Advertisement Meanwhile, Rank's Bears finished with a record of 5-12. The most gut-wrenching of those losses came to the Commanders when Daniels threw a Hail Mary to win the game, which kicked off a 10-game Bears' losing streak. So, Rank isn't a fan of the Commanders. Last summer, Rank predicted Washington would go 5-12. Throughout the season, he continued to pick against Washington when it was clear the Commanders were the better team in some weeks. Now, Rank has made his prediction for 2025. The contributor predicts Washington will finish 7-10. We often say this, and it remains true: rankings are subjective. Advertisement As you could imagine, Washington fans weren't too pleased with Rank on social media. But it's not just Washington fans. Rank predicted that two of the NFC's top three teams in 2024, the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings, would both finish 8-9 in 2025. It's worth noting that the Lions and Vikings are divisional rivals of the Bears in the NFC North. The other team in the NFC North, the Green Bay Packers, Rank has at 9-8, with the Bears winning the division at 11-6. The Bears should be much better in 2025. They hired Ben Johnson away from the Detroit Lions, and he should dramatically improve Williams and the offense. Chicago also significantly upgraded its offensive line. But better than the Lions, Vikings, Packers and Commanders? Advertisement We shall see. This article originally appeared on Commanders Wire: NFL analyst and Commanders' hater makes 2025 prediction

J.J. McCarthy, Vikings Dealt Damning 2025 Prediction
J.J. McCarthy, Vikings Dealt Damning 2025 Prediction originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Minnesota Vikings will enter the 2025 NFL with quarterback J.J. McCarthy looking to build instant chemistry with superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson. Advertisement Sam Darnold took the QB mantle last season after McCarthy suffered a season-ending right knee meniscus tear in the preseason opener against the Las Vegas Raiders. He led the Vikings to a brilliant 14-3 record in the regular season. The Los Angeles Rams put an abrupt end to the Darnold and Jefferson train in the Wild Card Round. This season, things are different. Minnesota let Darnold walk away in free agency, leaving McCarthy with big shoes to fill in 2025. Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy (9)© Brad Rempel-Imagn Images NFL Network's Adam Rank dropped a disappointing prediction for the Vikings' fans. He doesn't believe that McCarthy would manage to pull off a similar record in what would be the Vikings' quarterback's rookie season. Advertisement "The Minnesota Vikings are one of the most interesting teams for 2025," Rank said. "Very good a season ago, but they got rid of Sam Darnold. JJ McCarthy seems ready, poised to take over this team." Rank has McCarthy starting his NFL career with a loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 1. He believes Minnesota will defeat the Atlanta Falcons and the Cincinnati Bengals at home. He said the Vikings will head into the bye week following a loss to Aaron Rodgers' Pittsburgh Steelers but a win over the Cleveland Browns. "You start off three and two. Heading into the bye week, you're feeling pretty good. You're like, 'Okay, JJ McCarthy starting to feel himself, that feels good." But playing the defending champions at home, not great in Week 7," Rank said. He predicted the Vikings to suffer three straight losses to the Philadelphia Eagles, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Detroit Lions before registering a victory against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10. Advertisement Rank added that the Vikings will defeat the Bears again in Week 11 but will lose to the Green Bay Packers. "JJ McCarthy going out to face Sam Darnold. The Sam Darnold revenge game, you got a loss right here," he predicted. The NFL analyst has Minnesota winning against the Washington Commanders. However, the Dallas Cowboys are expected to defeat McCarthy's army. Entering the final stretch, Rank predicts the Vikings to win against the New York Giants and avenge their loss against the Detroit Lions. "You're eight and eight. Home against the Green Bay Packers. JJ McCarthy, with an opportunity to stamp himself as the definitive Vikings quarterback and as a definitive Viking, it would mean you lose a big game. So, I have the Packers winning that," he said. Advertisement As per Rank's analysis, the Vikings will end the 2025 regular season with an 8-9 record. While he has confidence in McCarthy having a good season, the NFL analyst doesn't see him making it to the playoffs in his very first season. Minnesota also parted ways with Daniel Jones and Nick Mullens in free agency. They traded for Sam Howell rather than acquiring a veteran quarterback. If things go south with McCarthy, the fans might have to bear a worse result than Rank's prediction. Related: Vikings' Justin Jefferson Dealt Disrespect Due to J.J.
