Adani Defence partners with Prime Aero to acquire full stake in Indamer Technics
Adani Defence Systems & Technologies Limited (ADSTL), through its joint venture Horizon Aero Solutions Limited in partnership with Prime Aero Services LLP, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 100% stake in Indamer Technics Private Limited (ITPL) — one of India's pioneering private-sector aircraft MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) providers. Horizon is a 50:50 venture between ADSTL and Prime Aero, owned by Prajay Patel, director of ITPL. The acquisition marks a significant boost to India's aviation infrastructure and self-reliance in high-end MRO services. ITPL operates from a strategically located, state-of-the-art greenfield facility in Nagpur's MIHAN SEZ, spread across 30 acres. The complex can house 15 aircraft bays in 10 hangars and is approved by DGCA, FAA (USA), and other global regulators. The company's services include lease return checks, heavy C-checks, structural repairs, and aircraft painting, catering to both Indian and international airlines. 'The Indian aviation industry has witnessed an unprecedented transformation, becoming the 3rd largest in terms of passenger traffic.
