Adani Sportsline Academy trainees shine at Gujarat State Sub-jr Basketball C'ship 2025
Ahmedabad: Young basketball talents from the Adani Sportsline Academy delivered standout performances at the recently concluded Gujarat State Sub-Junior Basketball Championship held in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The tournament saw participation from six district teams each in the boys' and girls' categories, with Adani Sportsline trainees playing a pivotal role in Ahmedabad's strong performance. The Ahmedabad boys' team clinched the gold medal, defeating Baroda in a thrilling final. Key to the team's success was Reyansh Shah, who impressed with his all-round play and composure under pressure. The Ahmedabad girls' team, also featuring Adani Sportsline athletes, secured a commendable third place, after a fiercely contested semi-final against Bhavnagar. Among the standout performers was Bhanvi Jesalpura, whose efforts throughout the tournament earned her a call-up to the national team camp. Jeel Dave, another promising player from the Academy, was also an integral part of the girls' team. These results reflect the strength of the Adani Sportsline Academy Programme, which is committed to identifying and nurturing budding talents through structured training and top-class facilities. Ahmedabad: Adani Sportsline, in collaboration with the Gujarat State Tennis Association (GSTA), will organise the GSTA Tennis Tournament 2025, it was announced here on Thursday. The state-level competition will be held from May 24 to 27 at the Sabarmati Riverfront Sports Park in Paldi, Ahmedabad. Open to participants across multiple age groups, the tournament aims to bring together the region's emerging and seasoned talents. The registration process will be open from May 1 to 22. With professionally managed match formats and top-tier facilities, the event promises high-quality competitive action and an inclusive platform. This initiative is part of Adani Sportsline's ongoing commitment to promoting active lifestyles and a vibrant sporting culture within the city. The tournament welcomes entries from parents of junior players, sports enthusiasts, and local tennis clubs as well. The major categories are: Mixed: Under 8; Boys & Girls: Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16; Men: Singles, Doubles, 35+ Singles, 35+ Doubles, 45+ Singles, 45+ Doubles, and Women: Singles. Adani Sportsline announces basketball summer camp 2025 at Sabarmati Riverfront Sports Park
Ahmedabad: Adani Sportsline on Friday announced the launch of its highly anticipated Basketball Summer Camp 2025, set to take place from May 1 to 31 at the state-of-the-art Sabarmati Riverfront Sports Park in Paldi, Ahmedabad. The month-long camp will be open for boys and girls aged 6 to 18 years, from beginners to advanced levels. Led by experienced coaches, the training program will help the young players learn more about individual techniques and team strategies while giving them a world-class experience. The participants will receive hands-on training in a fun and engaging environment. Friendly matches and tournaments will also be held as part of the camp. The summer camp is part of Adani Sportsline's broader vision to promote physical fitness, instill discipline, and foster the spirit of sportsmanship among youth during their summer break. As an added incentive, Adani Sportsline is offering a 5 per cent early bird discount for those who register ahead of time, along with a 10 per cent group registration discount for teams. The last day of registration is April 30 as limited seats are available. Earlier this year, Adani Sportsline held the 3x3 Hoopers League at the Riverfront Sports Park on January 25 and 26. The tournament had U-12, U-15, U-19, U-23, women, men and mixed categories. The first edition of the tournament was held in Ahmedabad in December 2023 and more than 100 teams, including 400 participants and over 600 spectators, were part of the league.
