Complete renovation work of govt schools early: DC
Wanaparthy: On Wednesday a review meeting was held at the collectorate regarding provision of basic amenities in government schools and Anganwadi centres. The meeting was attended by officials from Panchayati Raj, TWDIC and R&B departments. Collector Adarsh Surabhi instructed R & B engineers to take necessary steps to complete the works that were started under the Mana Ooru Mana Badi initiative but were left incomplete midway, by coordinating with the contractors. He assured immediate sanction of funds for the pending works but emphasised that they must be completed promptly. Surabhi noted that some renovation works taken up under the Amma Adarsha Pathashala committees were halted midway. He directed that tasks like construction of toilets, provision of drinking water and installation of fans be completed without delay. He suggested that the contractors should complete the repairs and then claim payments. Since the schools and Anganwadi centres are set to reopen soon, he directed officials to ensure that the renovation and new building construction in Anganwadi centres are completed at the earliest. Officials including the EE TWDIC, DEs and AEs of Panchayati Raj attended the meeting.

Telangana State Formation Day Celebrations in a Grand Way
Wanaparthy District: Telangana State Formation Day Celebrations were held in a grand way at the district IDOC premises on Monday. State Scheduled Castes Cooperative Development Organization Chairman Preetham attended the celebrations as the chief guest. Along with the chief guest, District Collector Adarsh Surabhi, SP Ravula Giridhar, Wanaparthy MLA Thudi Megha Reddy, Additional Collector Revenue G Venkateswarlu, Additional Collector Local Bodies Yadayya, and Wanaparthy Market Chairman Srinivas Goud were present on the stage. The chief guest first paid floral tributes to the Telangana Martyrs' Stupa along with the Collector and MLAs. Later, he received a salute from the police force. The chief guest was given a grand welcome on behalf of the district administration. Later, the national flag was unfurled and the people were greeted. Later, Jaya Jaya Hey Telangana was sung. Later, he spoke and explained the welfare development programs being implemented in the district and the progress achieved. He said that Telangana will guide the country in terms of social justice as well as the welfare of the poor, marginalized and vulnerable sections of the state. He said that the state has completed 11 years today. He said that the state is moving towards development in all sectors. He said that free travel facility for women in RTC buses and free electricity for households have been provided. He said that the Bhu Bharati Act will be implemented and land issues in the state will be identified and resolved quickly. He said that Telangana State has been successful in showcasing it on the world stage and has achieved huge government investments by visiting countries like America, South Korea, Singapore, Davos and Japan. He said that the government has successfully organized the AI Global Summit, BioAsia Conference and Miss World pageants in Hyderabad. On this occasion, under the auspices of the chief guest, the freedom fighters and their family members who fought for the achievement of Telangana Swarastra were honored. On this occasion, the cultural dances performed by children from various schools impressed everyone. On this occasion, the stalls set up by the Police Department, SC Corporation, District Welfare Department, District Rural Development Department, District Medical Department, District Agriculture Department, Municipal Administration and Housing Department in the IDOC premises were visited and inspected by the chief guest, along with the Collector and MLA. District officials of various departments, public representatives, staff, people, students, representatives of print and electronic media and others participated in the program.

Collector inspects Bhu Bharati revenue meet
Wanaparthy: District Collector Adarsh Surabhi visited the Bhu Bharati revenue meet held in Edutla village of Gopalpet mandal on Friday during which he urged the public to make the best use of the meet if they have any land-related issues. A help centre was set up at the event; those with land problems could fill a sample application form at the centre, provided they bring appropriate documents. The Collector assured that people need not worry about their land issues and promised that justice would be done to everyone through the Bhu Bharati initiative. He directed the revenue officials to take steps to quickly clear the applications received during the event. He advised that wherever possible issues should be resolved on the spot and notices related to succession should be issued immediately. As many as 28 applications were received from the village. The Gopalpet mandal was selected as a pilot project area; from May 5 revenue meets are being conducted in various villages in the mandal. So far 322 applications have been received. RDO Subrahmanyam, Gopalpet tahsildar Pandu, and revenue staff accompanied the collector.

Bhu Bharati Implementation: 61 applications received on day 1
Wanaparthy: In the context of selecting Gopalpet as the pilot mandal for conducting the Bhu Bharati Act implementation, conferences were held on Monday in Chennuru and Jayanna Thirumalapur villages. District Collector Adarsh Surabhi visited Jayanna Thirumalapur and inspected the conference being conducted at the village secretariat. He reviewed the total number of applications received and the types submitted. According to Tahsildar Pandu 61 applications were received – 36 from Chennuru and 25 from Jayanna Thirumalapur. The applications included: succession: 18, missing survey: 2, pending mutation: 1, digital signature: 1, extent variation: 2, name correction: 5, Part B: 1, assigned patta: 3, others: 28 The Collector emphasised the need to resolve as many applications as possible on the spot and instructed notices related to succession cases be issued immediately. He directed that a Mee-Seva staff member be stationed with a system to quickly process the family members' supporting documents. RDO Subrahmanyam, tahsildar Raju, DT Tilak Reddy, and other revenue staff accompanied the collector.

Poor urged to utilise govt schemes to save money
Wanaparthy: ExciseMinisterJupally Krishna Rao participated as a chief guest along with District Collector Adarsh Surabhi at an awareness seminar in Panagal Mandal on Saturday. Speaking about Indiramma housing, he advised that only the most eligible and genuinely poor should be recommended by the committees. On social issues, the minister expressed concern that poor people are falling into debt due to unnecessary celebrations and expenses. He criticised the trend of private schooling, private healthcare, and excessive functions, leading to financial strain. 'The government is investing in public education infrastructure and teacher appointments, and people should send their children to government schools to save money,' he stressed. Speaking on awareness about Bhu Bharati Act, he said that ancestral lands, lands bought through hard work, government-given lands to the poor (Poramboku lands), and even valuable government lands were lost due to the deceptive Dharani Act. 'Soon, the village revenue systemwould be reintroduced, and land records would be properly safeguarded,' said Jupally. He also said that revenue officials are responsible for identifying encroached lands in Chinnambavi and Panagaland restoring them as government property. Later, the Collector informed that pamphlets about the Bhu Bharati law are being distributedto raise awareness among the locals and that once implemented, people must refrain from citing ignorance about the law. 'Make use of these awareness events,' he stressed.
