After compiling with the special religious formalities that dotted the day the processional deity of Lord Malayappa and his two divine consorts were re-adorned resplendently with gold kavacham (armour), symbolising the culmination of the annual fete. The day commenced with Maha Shanti Homam and was followed by Snapana Thirumanjanam at the Kalyanotsava mandapam inside the temple complex. To ensure the smooth conduct of the rituals, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) temporarily suspended several day time arjitha sevas. Prominent among those who took part in the religious event include the Pedda and Chinna Jeeyar SwamyJi's and Addl Executive Officer CH Venkaiah Chowdary.
