KOTA KINABALU: SK Sembulan's bold anti-bullying signboards have been a fixture since last year, reminding pupils that bullying is wrong and a punishable offence. PIBG chairman Salleh Dualin said the signage is part of a broader effort to keep students safe, alongside strategies to raise awareness and change behaviour. The school has also introduced measures such as a bullying complaint counter, daily 'Say No to Bully' sessions, and regular visits from its police liaison officer for discipline talks. Next week, SK Sembulan will host a 'Bersama Tangani Buli' (Addressing Bullying Together) programme with parents, the community, and police, attended by Education Ministry focal person Datuk Muhammad Arif Tun Sakaran. Salleh said the school's goal is to ensure no student suffers in silence, with support from guidance teachers and active involvement from parents and the wider community. * Follow us on our official WhatsApp channel and Telegram for breaking news alerts and key updates! * Do you have access to the Daily Express e-paper and online exclusive news?
