Major changes to 14 Dubai bus routes have now come into effect. The Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai (RTA) announced new bus route changes, including a new intercity Sharjah bus route. Departing from the newly opened Stadium Bus Station in Dubai, the new E308 bus route will take passengers to Al Jubail Bus Station in Sharjah. The new intercity Dubai to Sharjah bus route will start on Friday May 3, and is priced at just Dhs12 for a one-way ticket. The new bus route will provide an extra option for commuters between the two neighbouring emirates. Services will be rerouted and offer commuters a smoother, more efficient and comfortable commuting experience, according to the transport authority. Route 17 will now terminate at Baniyas Square Metro Station instead of Al Sabkha Bus Station. Route 24 has been re-routed within the Al Nahda 1 area. Route 44 will be re-routed from Al Rebat Street to serve Dubai Festival City. Route 56 has been extended to reach DWC Staff Village. Routes 66 & 67 will now stop at Al Ruwayah Farm area. On the Route 32C, there will now be less services between Al Jafiliya Bus Station and Al Satwa Bus Station. Passengers travelling to Al Satwa may use Route F27 for continued service. The bus stop has been moved from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Max Metro Land Side Bus Stop 2 on Route C26. Route E16 will now terminate at Union Bus Station instead of Al Sabkha Bus Station. The section between Al Satwa Roundabout and Al Wasl Park has been curtailed on Route F12. Instead, the route will now be re-routed via Kuwait Street. A Bus stop has been relocated from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Max Metro Land Side Bus Stop 2 on Route F27 Route F47 has been re-routed within Jebel Ali Industrial Area. Route F54 has been extended to serve the new JAFZA South labour camp. The bus stop on Route X92 has been moved from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Max Metro Land Side Bus Stop 1. Commuting from Dubai to Sharjah? The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has announced the launch of a new intercity bus route connecting the two emirates for more convenient travel. Starting May 2, 2025, the newly introduced Route E308 will operate between the Stadium Bus Station in Dubai and Al Jubail Bus Station in Sharjah, with a one-way fare set at AED 12. According to Adel Shakeri, Director of Planning and Business Development at RTA's Public Transport Agency, the new route is part of RTA's ongoing efforts to expand the public bus network and improve integration with other modes of transport, including the metro, tram, and marine services.
