OPP investigate carjacking involving masked suspects

An Ontario Provincial Police cruiser is shown in this file image. (Supplied/Ontario Provincial Police) A feeling of being followed too closely was his first clue something was wrong. Police say a man was driving northbound in Adjala-Tosorontio Township on Concession Road 4, between County Road 1 and 20 Sideroad on Monday at around 10: 15 p.m. When the car behind him got too close, police say the driver attempted to pull over to let the other vehicle pass, but that's when the second vehicle rammed into the back of his 2024 black BMW 4 Series. When the driver stopped and climbed out of the BMW, police say three people wearing ski masks got out of the second vehicle, and one of them demanded the keys to the BMW. According to police, that person drove off in the man's car, while the other two returned to their car and took off. Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say there are no descriptions of the trio available. Anyone with information or video surveillance footage related to this incident is asked to contact the Nottawasaga OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
