Shakira slipped and fell on stage during her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec. She quickly regained composure.
Even queens stumble sometimes and Shakira just proved she's one of the coolest pros in the biz. During a stop on her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour, Shakira had a bit of a slip-up at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec. The superstar was in the middle of setting the stage on fire with her performance when she lost her footing and took a fall right on stage.
Shakira was performing her hit song Whenever, Wherever on May 20 when she suddenly slipped and fell on stage. A video shared on X (formerly Twitter) shows the 48-year-old dancing with full energy before losing her balance and falling. Shakira quickly got back up, smiled, and kept performing.
A fan caught the moment on video and shared it online and now, social media is flooded with love for the singer.

Fans couldn't stop praising Shakira for how gracefully she handled the fall. One fan wrote, 'But like the Queen that she is, she took the bull by the horns and reacted super well." Another added, 'She even has class when falling."
A third fan gushed, 'She handled it wonderfully!!!" while someone else noted, 'This time she hit hard, but as always, she came out of the accident unscathed."
Another fan echoed Shakira's own lyrics, saying, 'A true professional, women don't cry." And one more admirer commented, 'Mamacita, always so resourceful and with the best attitude — a true artist."
Back in February, Shakira had to push back her concerts in Lima, Peru, because of a health scare. As reported by Billboard, she shared an update on Instagram saying, 'I am sorry to inform you all that last night I had to go to the ER for an abdominal issue and am currently hospitalised. I am very sad to not be able to take the stage today."
Luckily, she bounced back soon after.
