Dessert king Adriano Zumbo and wife Nelly welcome their second child and reveal the little girl's sweet name

Adriano Zumbo and Nelly Riggio have welcomed their second child. The dessert king, 43, and his reality star wife, 34, shared the happy news on Instagram on Sunday. Alongside a series of images of the proud parents in hospital with their newborn, they revealed the little girl's name. 'Sofia Rosa Zumbo,' Adriano wrote in his sweet caption. 'Born 16/08/2025 at 7:59pm. Excuse me while we fall in love all over again,' he added. The couple's celebrity friends were quick to congratulate them, including Angie Kent, who wrote: 'Oh my god yay!!!! She is perfect! Congratulations darlings.' 'Congratulations on the birth of beautiful Sofia,' added Kirsten Tibballs. The pair had shared the good news that they were expecting back in March. In an image posted on Instagram, Nelly cradled her growing bump while wearing a fitted activewear ensemble. 'Hi little gal' she captioned the photo alongside a pink bow emoji, insinuating that her little one is a girl. The couple welcomed a son together back in 2023. They announced joyful news on Instagram at the time, by sharing a precious black and white photo. In the image, their bundle of joy is seen lying in his hospital crib with an identification tag wrapped around his little ankle. The couple did not reveal their bub's name at the time but later indicated the boy is called Maximus Mario Zumbo, Maxy for short. The announcement came just one year after the pair tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. They exchanged vows at Tiffany's at Maleny with views of the stunning Glass House Mountains in May 2022. Adriano and Nelly made headlines in 2016 when they began dating shortly after they started working together. The couple went public with their romance in 2017 after Nelly starred on My Kitchen Rules with then-boyfriend JP Huillet in 2016. In May 2021, Nelly announced her engagement to the pastry chef, sharing the happy news to her Instagram page.

Singapore Food Festival returns in September, includes SG60 Specials series, Lifestyle News

Foodies are in for a treat as the Singapore Food Festival (SFF) is returning for its 32nd edition with a buffet of culinary experiences from Sept 4 to 24, the festival announced on Friday (July 4). Themed Have You Eaten Yet? as a nod to how many Asian cultures express love, SFF 2025 will offer more than 15 events, including a series of SG60 Specials, as well as more than 50 curated experiences by the festival's affiliate partners. Last year's festival line-up saw three overall event formats named Signature Events, Pop-up Events and Unique Events, and these will continue for this year's edition. And like the 2024 edition, SFF 2025 will take place across multiple venues — from hawker centres to heritage districts and modern dining spaces, according to SFF's website, moving away from past installments where it was held in a single location. While full event details for the three Pop-up Events and seven Unique Events have not been announced yet, the three Signature Events are the same as the previous year: The Long Table, Food is Art and Future Food. The Long Table is a unique communal dining experience where each dish is crafted and paired with immersive storytelling and theatrical elements while Food is Art brings together award-winning dessert chefs, mixologists, artists and high fashion to transform food into artforms, SFF said in a statement. Future Food explores food innovation, featuring experimental tastings, molecular gastronomy demos and presentations from food innovators. The Pop-up Events will include food truck tours and immersive heritage explorations while the Unique Events are designed to blend culinary innovation with art, culture and immersive elements such as rooftop suppers and cultural mashups, according to the website. SFF also shared that the series of SG60 Specials will celebrate Singapore's heritage with modern twists and other online activations. The line-up of curated experiences by the festival's affiliates include in-store promotions, limited-time menus and more, according to the website. SFF 2025's central hub will be at Mise en Place @ Dempsey Hill, an open-to-public space that will serve as an all-in-one experience centre showcasing a variety of curated food, lifestyle and culture experiences. The hub will also house Zumbo Desserts helmed by Australian celebrity chef Adriano Zumbo, marking his debut in Asia. Food Stories in July Leading up to the festival in the month of July, there will also be a digital showcase series called Singapore Food Stories on social media highlighting personal stories and recipes shared by everyday Singaporeans. For those who love supporting local hawkers, SFF 2025 has also named Chinatown Complex Food Centre as its Heritage Hawker Partner this year, shining a light on the ones who have dedicated decades to preserving Singapore's traditional food scene. Throughout the duration of the festival, the food centre will carry the banner of SFF 2025. Full lineups and more information will be updated on SFF's website and social media platforms.
