Advancecon Unit Files RM10.17 Million Adjudication Claim Against CCC ECRL

Advancecon Holdings Berhad has announced a new development in its ongoing material litigation, with its wholly-owned subsidiary, Advancecon Infra Sdn Bhd , filing an adjudication claim of RM10.17 million against China Communications Construction (ECRL) Sdn Bhd. The Adjudication Claim was formally issued and served to CCC on August 5, 2025, under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 According to the company, a decision from the adjudicator is expected within the statutory timeframe of 45 working days from the close of pleadings. Advancecon has stated that it will provide further updates on any significant developments regarding the proceedings as they occur.

KUALA LUMPUR: Advancecon Holdings Bhd's subsidiary Advancecon Infra Sdn Bhd has bagged a RM68.5 million contract from Sime Darby Property (Lagong) Sdn Bhd. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said it will undertake earthworks and ancillary works for Stage 1 of the Lagong Mas development in Gombak, Selangor. The project, designated as Package 2, will run from June 4, 2025 to Dec 3, 2026. The award comes just a day after Advancecon clinched a subcontract to build the Gerbil data centre for Gamuda Bhd. "Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the contract is expected to contribute positively towards the group's future earnings for the duration of the contract," it said.

KUALA LUMPUR: Advancecon Holdings Bhd via its wholly-owned subsidiary Advancecon Infra Sdn Bhd has been appointed the contractor for the construction of earthworks and ancillary works for stage 1 (package 2) at Lagong Mas in Gombak, Selangor, for RM68.51mil. It said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia the contract, awarded by Sime Darby Property (Lagong) Sdn Bhd, shall run from June 4, 2025, to Dec 3, 2026. "Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the contract is expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings of Advancecon Group for the duration of the Contract and will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders' shareholdings of Advancecon Group," it said.

KUALA LUMPUR: Advancecon Holdings Bhd, through its subsidiary Advancecon Infra Sdn Bhd (AISB), has secured a RM47.5 million contract from Mujur Minat Sdn Bhd (MMSB). In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the contract involves the construction and completion of key infrastructure works for the Gerbil Data Centre project in Port Dickson. "The sub-contract is scheduled for completion by Aug 30, 2025, from the date of acceptance," it stated. Advancecon noted that the contract is expected to contribute positively to the company's earnings throughout its duration. "This marks Advancecon's maiden entry into the data centre infrastructure segment, aligning with Malaysia's aspirations to become a regional digital hub amid growing demand for cloud computing and digital services," it said. Its group chief executive officer Datuk Phum Ang Kia said the contract not only broadens the company's project portfolio but also marks a strategic move into new sectors that support the nation's digitalisation and sustainability objectives.
