Indian Air Force announces recruitment rallies
Bengaluru: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced a series of recruitment initiatives for the Agniveervayu and Airmen Intake 2026. An open recruitment rally (Other than Science Stream) will be conducted by the 8 Airmen Selection Centre, Chennai, for Agniveervayu Intake 01/2026 from August 27 to September 07 at Air Force Station Tambaram, East Tambaram, Chennai – 600046. The detailed notification outlining the eligibility criteria, terms and conditions for the recruitment rally is expected to be released shortly. Meanwhile, online registration for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2026 for both male and female candidates commenced on 11 July (from 11:00 hrs) and will remain open until 31 July (up to 23:00 hrs). Similarly, online applications for Airmen Intake 02/2026 under Group 'Y' (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant trade are being accepted during the same period — from July 11 to 31. The recruitment process will include a Physical Fitness Test, Written Test, Adaptability Test-I & II, and Medical Appointment

Registration Begins For Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2025, Check Eligibility, Selection Process
Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu 2025 Recruitment: The Indian Air Force has commenced the registration process for Agniveervayu recruitment under the Agnipath scheme. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website. The application window opened on July 11 and will remain active until July 31. Eligibility Criteria Candidates must meet one of the following educational qualifications: 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Mathematics, and English from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English. Three-year Engineering Diploma in fields like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or Information Technology, with at least 50% marks overall and in English. 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate and 50% in English. Two-year vocational course with at least 50% marks and 50% in English (either in the vocational course or in Class 10/12 if English was not a core subject). Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2025: Age Limit Applicants must be between aged between 17.5 and 21 years. Only those born between July 2, 2005, and January 2, 2009 (inclusive of both dates) are eligible to apply. Selection Process The selection process include the following stages: Written examination Physical fitness test Document verification Medical examination Application Fee An application fee of Rs 550 is to be paid online during the submission of the form.

Agniveervayu passing-out parade tomorrow
A passing-out parade for the fifth batch of Agniveervayu Trainees will be organised at the Airmen Training School Belagavi on Friday. Air Vice-Marshal P.C.P. Anand, who is the senior officer in-charge of administration, HQTC, IAF, will be the reviewing officer and chief guest for the parade. Training for this batch commenced on January 6, 2025. The culmination of this phase of training marks a significant milestone for the Agniveervayu trainees as they have completed 22 weeks of rigorous and transformative ab-initio training before they embark on their professional training phase on allocated trades. Various other guests, dignitaries and parents of the trainees have also been invited to witness the key event, said a release.
