Pahang Museum seeks collaboration with Sarawak to strengthen ties, exchange expertise

KUCHING (July 31): The Pahang Museum is seeking collaboration with the Sarawak Museum to strengthen ties and exchange expertise, said its director Ahmad Farid Abdul Jalal.
Speaking to reporters after leading a delegation on a courtesy visit to Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at Wisma Bapa Malaysia today, Ahmad Farid praised Sarawak's commitment to promoting its craft industry on the global stage.
'The Sarawak government's support has succeeded in forming a strong identity for Sarawak,' he said, adding that such efforts should serve as a model for other states to follow.
The Pahang delegation was in Kuching to express interest in collaborating with the Sarawak Museum for the upcoming Pahang Heritage Festival, scheduled to be held at the Tunku Azizah Royal Craft Village from August 31 to September 7.
