IOF, Settlers Intensify assaults against Palestinians in West Bank

DaysofPal- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and settlers launched a series of widespread assaults today, Sunday, across various areas of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, resulting in several Palestinian injuries. The attacks included storming homes and threats to set them on fire. In the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, a young man was injured after Israeli forces opened live fire at a group of youths near the separation wall. He was transferred by Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics to a hospital after being shot in the leg. In Tulkarem Governorate, Israeli soldiers violently assaulted two Palestinian civilians in Tulkarem Refugee Camp and the town of Ramin, east of the governorate. Both were hospitalized at Martyr Thabet Thabet Hospital. Among the injured was Ahmad Subhi Sanjaq, who was attacked during a raid on his home, where his brother Ali was arrested. Moreover, IOF also stormed the towns of Anabta and Bal'a east of Tulkarem, and Deir al-Ghusun north, deploying military vehicles through the streets, obstructing residents' movement and traffic. In Jenin, eyewitnesses reported that occupation forces fired live ammunition directly at the vehicle of Sheikh Muhammad Salah, Mufti of the Palestinian Security Forces, near Jenin Girls' High School. Soldiers then assaulted his escort and seized the vehicle, conducting a thorough search. Meanwhile, in southeastern Bethlehem, Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian homes in the Wadi Sa'ir area near the village of Al-Minya, pelting them with stones and threatening to burn them down, causing panic among residents. These Israeli attacks come amid ongoing escalations in the Israeli genocide against the Gaza Strip and a sharp increase in violations in the West Bank in recent weeks, which have resulted in at least 992 Palestinians killed, around 7,000 wounded, and over 18,000 arrested.
