Al-Jarallah receives Iraqi Ambassador and media personality Hamid Abdullah
EDITOR-IN-CHIEF of the Arab Times and Al- Seyassah newspapers Ahmed Al-Jarallah met with Iraqi Ambassador to Kuwait Al-Munhal Al-Safi and media personality Dr. Hamid Abdullah at his residence on Wednesday. Writer Sami Al-Nisf, retired Major General (retd) Faisal Al-Jazzaf and Saud Al-Farhan also attended the meeting. Al-Jarallah welcomed the guests and exchanged friendly conversations. They discussed a number of media and cultural issues, in addition to some general affairs and current issues. Al-Jarallah stressed the importance of 'continuing these types of meetings, which contribute to strengthening bridges of communication and exchanging views between media and diplomatic fi gures. These meetings enhance understanding and shared visions, while enriching purposeful and constructive dialogue.'

Strengthening Media Relations: Pakistan's Ambassador Visits Arab Times
KUWAIT CITY, May 27: Dean of Kuwaiti journalism and Editor-in-Chief of the Arab Times and Al-Seyassah newspapers Ahmed Al-Jarallah met with Ambassador of the Republic of Pakistan to Kuwait Dr. Zafar Iqbal at his office in Dar Al- Seyassah on Tuesday. They discussed ways to strengthen media cooperation, a number of current regional and international issues, and ways to address the media developments. During the meeting, Al-Jarallah emphasized the importance of the media's role in building bridges of communication between peoples. He affirmed the commitment of the Arab Times and Al-Seyassah to continue as a platform for constructive dialogue and media diplomacy, reflecting the strength of Kuwaiti-Pakistani relations. On the other hand, Iqbal praised the pioneering role of the two newspapers, the wise editorial management headed by Al-Jarallah, and their effective role in supporting humanitarian issues and promoting positive dialogue. He said the embassy is keen on strengthening cooperation with Kuwaiti media outlets. Director of Legal Affairs at Dar Al-Seyassah Hamada Al- Amir and Managing Editor of the Arab Times Marlon Aquino Malinao were also present at the meeting.

Al-Jarallah participates in 20th Arab Media Forum
KUWAIT CITY, May 13: Dean of Kuwaiti Journalism and Editor-in-Chief of Arab Times and Al-Seyassah newspapers Ahmed Al-Jarallah participated in the 20th edition of the Arab Media Forum held in Kuwait under the patronage of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah and in the presence of Minister of Information, Culture, and State Minister of Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi. Al-Jarallah's participation received an outstanding response, where he met with several prominent Kuwaiti and Arab media figures. Editor-in-Chief of Arab Times, Info Minister tackles media challenges
KUWAIT CITY, May 8: Editor-in-Chief of Arab Times and Al-Seyassah newspapers Ahmed Al-Jarallah has stressed the need to provide the best mechanisms for supporting journalism, while enabling it to achieve further progress and development. Al-Jarallah made the statement during his meeting with Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi at the Office of the Minister on Thursday. They engaged in discussions on strengthening communication between the Ministry of Information and national press organizations, as well as the latest developments in the media sector. They talked about a number of pressing media issues related to Kuwaiti affairs and ways to address the challenges that local press institutions are currently facing. These endeavors aim to ensure the media's role in supporting national development objectives and upholding the principles of freedom and expression, while maintaining professional responsibility and safeguarding the national interests. They deliberated on mechanisms for strengthening cooperation between the ministry and Kuwaiti press institutions; thereby, fostering a robust local media environment and developing legislation to regulate media operations in line with the rapid evolution of the sector. He pointed out this is a crucial move toward ensuring the sustained viability and competitiveness of Kuwaiti journalism amidst digital transformations and new media platforms. Meanwhile, Minister Al-Mutairi affirmed acknowledgment of the issues raised and commended Al-Jarallah's contributions to the media landscape; while reaffirming the commitment of the ministry to exert collaborative efforts with media outlets in a bid to advance the contents of Kuwaiti media, strengthen its regional and international position, and build a responsible national media that supports the process of development and renaissance in the country.
