Sana'a (Saba) – The capital, Sana'a, hosted the closing ceremony of the summer activities and courses for the year 1446 AH, held under the theme "Knowledge and Jihad." PM attends match between Wahda Sana'a & Shabab Hadhramaut for 'Founding Anniversary Cup'
Sana'a - Saba: Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi attended part of the match between Shabab Hadhramaut and host team Wahda Sana'a for the 70th Founding Anniversary Cup (Platinum Jubilee) of Al-Wehda Club. The match began with the Prime Minister honoring referees who have received the FIFA International Referee Badge. The game, held at Al-Wahda Club Stadium in the capital, ended with the visitors winning 2-1, securing the cup for Shabab Hadhramaut. The Hadhrami team opened the scoring early through their standout player, Zaid Al-Jarash, who expertly executed a direct free kick. Al-Jarash returned to add a second goal for Shabab with a deceptive shot that the Wahda goalkeeper couldn't handle, putting his team in a comfortable position. In the second half, Wahda attempted a comeback and managed to narrow the gap with a goal from their player Ali Al-Hanbasi. The match saw referee Yahya Darwish issue red cards to Shabab players Mohammed Al-Tayri and Ameen Yaslam, forcing the team to finish the game with nine players. Following the match, Sana'a Mayor and Al-Wehda Club Chairman Ameen Jumaan, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Ali Hadhban, Club Secretary-General Mohammed Al-Sadiq, and Olympic Committee Secretary-General Mohammed Al-Ahajari presented the Platinum Jubilee Cup to the Shabab Hadhramaut team. Al-Rahwi and Al-Yafei toured the exhibition halls, which is being held in cooperation with the House of Creative Arts Forum, titled "With Gaza, Our Holidays Are Victories," the exhibition will continue until May 28. Government of Change & Construction holds speech ceremony on occasion of 35th National Day of Republic of Yemen, May 22
Sanaa - Saba The Government of Change and Construction in Sana'a held a ceremonial event to mark the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen on May 22, with the attendance of top political and government leaders. Supreme Political Council member Sultan Al-Sama'i and Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi emphasized that Yemeni unity is a deeply rooted popular choice and a key pillar of sovereignty and independence. They rejected federalist or separatist agendas, stressing that unity is a strategic, religious, and national duty. The event highlighted Yemen's steadfast support for Gaza and the role of the September 21 Revolution in thwarting foreign-backed division plans. Minister of Information Hashem Sharaf Al-Din affirmed that Sana'a represents the center of independent national decision-making and praised the people's resilience and the government's achievements despite adversity. Prime Minister Meets Ministers of Oil, Minerals, Electricity, and Water
Sana'a - Saba: Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi met today with the Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ameer, and the Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water, Dr. Ali Saif, to discuss joint efforts between the two ministries to ensure the stability of electricity and water services provided through the relevant public institutional frameworks. The meeting focused on necessary joint measures to mitigate the repercussions of the American, Israeli, and British aggression on the electricity and water sectors. During the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of the two ministries taking coordinated actions with other relevant entities to ensure the continued operation of power plants and water pumping facilities for citizens. He reaffirmed that Yemen will not abandon its principled and steadfast stance in supporting and standing with the brothers and sisters in the Gaza Strip, no matter the sacrifices.
