Supreme Council for Media Regulation suspends media host Ahmed Shobier for two weeks
The Supreme Council for Media Regulation, headed by Khaled Abdel-Aziz, made an urgent decision against media figure Ahmed Shobier, host of the 'Hares Al-Ahly' (Al-Ahly's Goalkeeper) program on Al-Ahly TV channel, after a complaint was filed against him by the Zamalek Club. Zamalek previously announced that it had filed a complaint against Shobier due to his repeated slandering of the club. The Supreme Council for Media Regulation in a Tuesday statement explained that it had approved the findings of the Complaints Committee, headed by media figure Essam al-Amir. These are to require Ahly TV channel to pay a sum of LE 100,000, and to prevent the broadcast of the 'Hares Al-Ahly' program for two weeks, as well as preventing media figure Ahmed Shobier from appearing on the channel in that period. The statement added that the decision came after investigations conducted by the Complaints Committee were concluded, based on the recommendation of the Sports Media Performance Control Committee headed by Counselor Abdel-Salam Al-Naggar, Chairman of the Committee and Member of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, as well as the complaints received by the Committee and the results of the Monitoring Department regarding the program.

Mahmoud Trezeguet Signs with Al Ahly
Rana Atef Moments ago, Media Icon and Al Ahly Channel Presenter Ahmed Shobier announced that Al Ahly signed Mahmoud Trezeguet, the former player of the Red Devils and current player of the Qatari Al Rayyan, for 5 years to strengthen the squad for the upcoming 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in USA. Shobier mentioned in a statement on Al Ahly's TV channel that the club has completed the deal with Trezeguet, making him the fourth signing for the Red Team during the current winter transfer window. Al Ahly officials have also completed signings for Slovenian forward Nejc Gračnar from Fehérvár (Hungary), defender Mustafa El Ash from Zed, and midfielder Ahmed Reda from Petrojet. In addition, Al Wakra's Hamdy Fathy will join Al Ahly for a six-month loan for the world club tournament.
