The first picture of Nick Frost in costume as Hagrid for the HBO TV adaptation of Harry Potter has been revealed. Frost was cast as the beloved Rubeus Hagrid, who was previously played by Scottish actor Robbie Coltrane. The new series, based on JK Rowling's bestselling novels, will be a decade-long project and is expected to debut on HBO and HBO Max in 2027. The first picture of the new Scottish actor in costume as Harry Potter has been revealed.
