Alison Hammond makes Rod Stewart Glastonbury confession to bemused son Aiden
Allison Hammond and her son Aiden were in stitches after the This Morning presenter made a joke during Rod Stewart 's Glastonbury set. Appearing on Channel 4 's Celebrity Gogglebox on Friday (4 July), the 50-year-old reacted to crowds dancing at Worthy Farm during the teatime legends slot on the Pyramid Stage on 29 June. Waving her arms side to side, she said: 'I could be there on someone's shoulders, swaying, that would be nice.' She then turned to her son Aiden and asked if he could have her on his shoulders, to which he promptly replied 'no', which resulted in a roar of laughter from both the mother, son and the presenter's sister Saundra.

Watch as Alison Hammond shares what she told her son Aiden when he asked her if he could go on Love Island. Appearing on Loose Women on Friday (13 June), the This Morning presenter said that she had to become 'the mum of the house' when she told her child, who had successfully auditioned for the ITV show, why he could not participate. Asked about rumours that her son could be entering the villa, Hammond exclaimed: 'Absolutely not!' She said she believes the 20-year-old is 'too young', before adding: 'I just think he can do it when he's a little bit older with a bit more experience'.

Alison Hammond reveals reason she told son not to go on Love Island
Alison Hammond has revealed that she told her son "absolutely not' when he asked if he could go on Love Island. The This Morning presenter appeared on Loose Women on Friday (13 June) where she shared that Aiden, her 20-year-old son, has successfully auditioned for the popular ITV2 dating show in the past. She said: 'I advised him to do it later on. You've got to remember he was only 19 at that time. I just think it's too young.' Hammond then joked that she turned into 'mum of the house' and put her foot down to stop him from participating, before stating that she is happy for him to enter but only when 'he has a bit more experience'.
