Saba Pataudi Beams With Pride For Ibrahim Ali Khan Ahead Of Sarzameen: 'You're A Star'
As Ibrahim prepares for his second film after Nadaaniyan, Prithviraj Sukumaran stepped up to support his co-star. In conversation with India Today, the Aiyya star addressed the criticism Ibrahim has been facing since his debut film.
'Ibrahim will be wonderful in this film, but that won't end the criticism," Prithviraj said, adding, 'If Shah Rukh Khan sir can still be criticised, why can't Ibrahim Ali Khan be criticised? From where I come from, Mohanlal sir and Mammootty sir are still criticised. That shows us that criticism will never end."
He emphasised the importance of embracing the journey rather than striving for perfection or public approval. He said, 'You have to keep trying. I've realised that it never gets easier. You might think, 'That one blockbuster,' and it gets easier? No, it doesn't. It never gets easier. The idea is to enjoy the grind."
Prithviraj also praised Ibrahim's dedication and preparedness. 'I think Ibrahim has put in a lot of work for this film. He's really worked hard. And as people already know, the camera loves him. He is a very good-looking boy," he remarked.
Sarzameen stars Ibrahim Ali Khan, alongside Kajol and Prithviraj. The film releases on July 25, 2025, on JioHotstar.
