Chittorgarh murder: Three suspects arrested in Jaisalmer for killing retired police officer's son in sand mafia rivalry JAISALMER: In Chittorgarh, last Monday, the son of a retired police officer was murdered by sand mafias. In connection with this case, Jaisalmer police arrested three suspects from a hotel in the city late Thursday night. These suspects are being handed over to the Chittorgarh police. Notably, during the shooting at a hotel in the Semalpura area of Chittorgarh on Monday, Ajay Raj Singh was killed on the spot. The attackers fired more than 50 rounds and also set the deceased's car on fire. The deceased's father is a retired ASI, and the incident is believed to be due to a sand-related rivalry. Based on a complaint by the deceased's friend, Omkar Sharma, a case was registered against 15 people for murder, arson, and conspiracy. Police teams from four stations were deployed to search for the suspects, and several raids were conducted. According to the police, the suspects have been identified. Jaisalmer Superintendent of Police Sudhir Chaudhary stated that in the recent shooting and murder case in Chittorgarh district, three suspects—Harshvardhan Singh, son of Kesar Singh Panwar, resident of Sihana, Rasmi Chittorgarh; Badri, son of Paras Ram Jat, resident of Agarpura, Bhilwara district; and Manoj Chaudhary, son of Jamna Lal Jat, resident of Agarpura, Bhilwara—were quickly apprehended by a team led by District Special Team In-charge Bhimrao Singh, based on confidential information from a hotel in Jaisalmer. They were brought in for questioning and will be handed over to the Chittorgarh team. He mentioned that the police received a tip-off about some suspicious individuals staying at a hotel in Dhibba Para, Jaisalmer, on Thursday night. Acting on this information, the district special team, led by Bhimrao, reached the spot and detained the three suspects, bringing them to the station. Upon questioning, they were found to be the accused in the murder of a retired ASI's son in Chittorgarh. They are currently being interrogated, and Chittorgarh police have been informed. The suspects will be handed over once the Chittorgarh police arrive. It is noteworthy that on Monday in Chittorgarh, a gang war over an old sand dispute led to over 50 shots being fired by one group, resulting in the death of a young man. The attackers set two cars on fire. Members of the Rajput community staged a protest outside the mortuary of Sanwaliyaji Hospital. According to reports, Ajay Raj Singh (40), son of Shiv Singh Jhala from Modji ka Minnana, Nimbahera Sadar, went to a hotel near Netavalgarh Pachhli on the Semalpura Highway with his friends late Sunday night. The accused, including Ishwar Singh from Det village in Gangrar, arrived in seven vehicles and surrounded the hotel, starting the shooting. Eyewitnesses reported that over fifty shots were fired. One bullet hit Ajay Raj Singh in the hand and lodged near his heart in the lungs. His companions rushed him to Birla Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. He was then taken to Sanwaliyaji Government General Hospital, where doctors confirmed his death and placed the body in the mortuary. Meanwhile, the suspects set two cars parked outside the hotel on fire and fled the scene. Get the latest lifestyle updates on Times of India, along with Eid wishes , messages , and quotes !

Tech entrepreneur launches ‘Natural Intelligence': ‘will think with heart, not hardware'
Written by Ajay Raj Singh In a bold declaration that could stir debate across the tech world, Chandigarh-based entrepreneur Siddhant Bansal on Monday unveiled what he described as a 'paradigm shift' in computing — Natural Intelligence. At a press conference on Monday, the 31-year-old Panjab University (PU) graduate, known for his people-centric approach to technology, said Natural Intelligence will replace Artificial Intelligence by enabling systems that 'think with heart, not just hardware'. At the core of the concept is Aloha Intelligence, a platform developed entirely in India, which Siddhant described as 'the world's first real-time thinking brain for machines.' Far from being another AI tool, Aloha, he claimed, offers human-like comprehension, capable of listening, understanding context, and responding with empathy. 'AI is over. Natural Intelligence is the future,' Siddhant declared. He demonstrated Aloha live at the event — touted as the first-ever press conference featuring Natural Intelligence — by analysing tweets of US President Donald Trump and inviting journalists to interact with the platform in real time. 'It's not a tool, it's my business partner,' he said. According to Siddhant, Aloha is designed for a wide user base: from filing RTIs and police complaints to drafting legal documents and aiding government departments. He said it can independently explore the internet, retrieve facts in real time, and offer context-aware responses. Calling on Indian tech firms to adopt the new model, Siddhant claimed that embracing Natural Intelligence could reduce the country's reliance on foreign algorithms and potentially save up to $5 billion annually. Whether Natural Intelligence will redefine the future or fade as a bold experiment remains to be seen.
