After finishing the shoot of 'Border 2', Sunny Deol celebrated Raksha Bandhan with his sister Ajeeta in California. He shared a heartfelt Instagram post. Sunny is set to star in 'Border 2', 'Lahore 1947', and portray Hanuman in 'Ramayana', releasing parts in Diwali 2026 and 2027. After finishing the shoot for 'Border 2', actor Sunny Deol travelled to California, USA, to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with his sister, Ajeeta Chaudhri. On Sunday, he posted a rare picture with her on his Instagram handle for all to see. Picture Perfect In the picture, Sunny and Ajeeta hugged each other as they posed for the photo that saw the actor showing off his Rakhi, and Ajeeta putting her hand on his wrist. Sunny wore a brown printed outfit and a beige hat for the Raksha Bandhan celebration. Ajeeta, on the other hand, chose a white and green suit for the occasion. He tagged San Ramon, California, as the location. Family background Ajeeta is one of Sunny's three siblings - actor Bobby Deol, and sister, Vijeta Gill. The story is based on the partition of India and features actors like Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, and Ali Fazal. Role in 'Ramayana' and release dates Additionally, Sunny will portray Lord Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana', alongside Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Ravana and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita. The first part of Ramayana is planned for a Diwali 2026 release, with the sequel coming out on Diwali 2027.
