Strong winds and dust storms swept through Mumbai on Tuesday, triggering cyclone-like conditions and panic among residents. A video from Dadar showing the intense weather has gone viral on social media.

Bystanders are seen huddling in corners, seeking shelter, while two men on a bike carefully make their way through the storm.
The dramatic weather followed a spell of thunderstorms and heavy rainfall across several areas including Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Kalyan, Dombivli, Vasai, Virar, and parts of Alibaug. Wind speeds reportedly reached up to 60–90 km/h.

Meanwhile, social media platform X was flooded with videos and updates from residents witnessing the storm.

Weather Forecast For Mumbai:
According to the latest forecast, Mumbai is likely to see a maximum temperature of around 33°C and a minimum of 28°C on Wednesday, with thunderstorms and rain expected.
On Thursday, the weather will remain generally cloudy with chances of light rain or drizzle. Temperatures are expected to range between 26°C and 33°C.
While some interior parts of Maharashtra have received light showers, Mumbai remained dry on Monday. The city's weather observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 33.7°C and a minimum of 26.6°C that day.
