‘Senseless tragedy': 15-year-old boy killed in Akron shooting
AKRON, Ohio (WJW) — A teenage boy died after a shooting in Akron Friday evening.
According to Akron Police, officers responded to a shooting call near the intersection of South Rhodes Avenue and Oberlin Court around 5:30 p.m.
Heavy rainfall leads to sewage overflow at Edgewater Beach
At the scene, officers found a 15-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound.
The boy was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later, police said in a news release.
Detectives from the Juvenile, Major Crimes, and Crime Scene units responded to investigate and process the scene for evidence.

We will not rest until we have answers,' Chief Brian Harding is quoted in the news release.
