Safety regulations
The competition was held Friday morning in the Hair Shatti marine area, under full compliance with safety regulations set by the organizing committee.
The weighing process was overseen by a specialized jury, known as the Tawawish, who meticulously sorted oysters and measured pearl weights — offering a vivid reflection of Bahrain's authentic maritime heritage and its deep connection to national identity.
