Taiz acting governor: Unity reflects people's will rejecting separation
Taiz - Saba: Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawi, emphasized that Yemeni unity was the culmination of a long struggle against colonialism and internal division, and an existential issue that embodies the will of a people who have rejected fragmentation throughout history. In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Al-Masawi indicated that unity will remain a symbol of steadfastness and hope under a revolutionary and political leadership that restores the values of sovereignty and dignity. He emphasized that unity is not a past event, but rather an ongoing project that requires rallying behind a leadership that embodies the will of the people and revives the values of sacrifice. He noted the revolutionary leadership's commitment to defending unity, confronting external aggression, and rejecting subordination. He also highlighted its alignment with the popular will to defend the homeland, its firm stance on the Palestinian cause, and its support for Gaza. Al-Masawi explained that Yemen's support for the Gaza cause is part of its faith and national identity, which rejects foreign hegemony and reinforces the principle of Islamic and Arab unity, historically embodied by the Yemeni revolution. Youth Minister & Taiz Acting Governor inspect summer course activities
Taiz - Saba: The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawlid, and the Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawi, inspected a number of summer courses in the governorate on Wednesday. Accompanied by Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Khaled, Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region, Mohammed Al-Khulaidi, Mobilization Officer in the province, and Saeed Al-Sanafi, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in Taiz, Al-Mawlid and Al-Masawi reviewed the progress of summer activities at several schools, including Al-Nour Asrar, Al-Furqan, Al-Saeed in Al-Samkar, and Imam Ali bin Abi Talib in Al-Ta'iziyah District. The visitors received a briefing from the organizers of the summer schools about the activities, student participation in sports, recreational, and educational programs, as well as the efforts of teachers, students, and parents in ensuring the success of the courses. During the visit, Minister Al-Mawlid emphasized the importance of summer activities in strengthening faith-based identity and promoting Quranic culture among the youth to protect them from the dangers of "soft war" and destructive ideologies. He highlighted how the summer courses provide participants with opportunities to gain beneficial knowledge, life skills, engage in agricultural, sports, and recreational activities. The Minister praised the efforts of the organizing committee, school administrators, and parents who encouraged their children to enroll in these programs. He urged those overseeing the courses to continue their dedication and coordination to ensure their success. Field & Technical Work launched for Urban Planning & Settlements Project in Taiz
Taiz - Saba: The local authority in Taiz province launched on Monday the field and technical work for the Urban Planning and Settlements Project. The project, which falls within the local authority's efforts to enhance community partnership and create an investment-friendly environment, aims to complete 37 detailed urban plans. During the inauguration, Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim emphasized the importance of the project, which comes in implementation of the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership. He praised the level of planning work in the province and stressed the need to generalize Taiz's experience in urban planning to benefit other provinces. He noted that Taiz is a pioneer in all fields, especially urban planning, which is the foundation of development. Minister Qahim commended the role of the local authority in Taiz and its executive offices for their efforts in achieving this success. For his part, Taiz Governor (Acting) Ahmed Al-Masawi expressed gratitude to the Minister of Transport and Public Works, the Chairman of the General Land Authority, the Supervisory Committee for Settlements, and the engineers. He highlighted the importance of launching the field and technical work for the Registration and Settlements Committee, as urban planning is a matter that impacts both the present and the future. Al-Masawi affirmed the commitment to turning challenges into opportunities to advance the province, emphasizing cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and the General Land Authority to achieve safe urban expansion. The project integrates informal areas through innovative solutions that preserve citizens' rights, accommodate population growth, and support essential services. Al-Masawi explained that the project, which includes 37 detailed plans, lays the foundation for a model urban city. In his remarks, Chairman of the General Land Authority Ibrahim Al-Mansour stressed the importance of this launch for organized urban planning, affirming that Taiz will serve as a model for adhering to urban plans that consider all economic and service aspects. The inauguration was attended by the Secretary-General of the Local Council in the governorate, Mohammed Al-Hajj, Deputy Governors Taha Al-Buraihi and Abdulwase'a Al-Shamsi, Mobilization Official Mohammed Al-Khalidi, and Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region Brigadier Mohammed Al-Khalidi. Appeals Court Chief and Head of the Settlements Committee, Judge Fawaz Al-Maqtari, addressed the tasks related to settlement procedures in planning, affirming that the project serves citizens and contributes to the state's development goals. Meanwhile, Director of Planning at the Land Authority Branch in Taiz, Engineer Mohammed Al-Asali, reviewed the targeted sites and field technical tasks related to urban planning, emphasizing their role in urban development. He noted that the areas targeted for planning include: Sha'ab Al-Khadim, Al-Maqashira, Wadi Ali (Uzlat Al-Asrar), Habail Aswad, Al-Qarama, Al-Dhikra, Maqtaq Ma'awiya (Uzlat Al-A'mur), Yakhtul, Al-Nusayriyah, Qarana, Al-Hadath, Habail Daf'an, Al-Khalu (Uzlat Shabaniyah Al-Ulya), Al-Daqduq, Al-Sakin, and Al-Khalu. Zakat al-Fitr and cash assistance projects launched in rural Ibb
Ibb - Saba: Ibb Governor Qasim Al-Masawi inaugurated yesterday two projects to distribute Zakat al-Fitr and cash assistance to poor and unemployed cases in the directorate. The two projects, implemented by the Zakat Commission office in the directorate, targeted 2,528 poor and unemployed cases with an amount of 50 million and 560,000 riyals. During the inauguration at the Ablan post office, Deputy Al-Masawi emphasized that the project to distribute zakat and monthly aid comes in implementation of the Revolution Leader's directives , Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council. Zakat Office director in the directorate, Abdul Raqib al-Humairi, explained that the Zakat al-Fitr distribution project targeted 2,245 poor and needy people with an amount of 44 million and 900 riyals, while 283 unemployed people benefited from the monthly subsidy project with an amount of 5 million and 660,000 riyals. Al-Humairi said that the distribution is carried out through post offices in the province center, describing the two projects as a successful experience in meeting the needs of the poor and needy, especially under the current difficult circumstances. Al-Masawi launches comprehensive cleaning campaign in preparation for holy month of Ramadan
Ibb - Saba: The acting governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawi, launched on Saturday a comprehensive cleaning campaign in the center of the province and districts in preparation for the month of Ramadan, implemented by the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in cooperation with the Works Sector and the Executive Unit. Al-Masawi emphasized that the launch of the campaign is a translation of the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in the framework of preparations for the holy month, and a translation of the revolution leader's directives , Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to improve cleanliness and protect the environment. The acting governor also confirmed that the current week will be a week of cleaning for neighborhoods, markets, streets, mosques, offices and others. At the launch, which was attended by the deputy governor of the province, Abdulwase Al-Shamsi, the director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, Talal Al-Sufi, emphasized that the launch of a wide and comprehensive cleaning campaign comes in preparation for the holy month and a practical translation of the directives of the state and the government in this regard. The director of the cleanliness project, Mohammed Ali, confirmed that the cleaners are motivated to carry out their duty in the cleanliness campaign, especially with the interaction of the community and the participation of the directors of the directorates and the heads of the neighborhoods. For his part, Mohammed Al-Hashma, director of the Salah district, explained that the launch of the comprehensive cleaning campaign starting from the directorate comes as a launch of the cleaning work to the districts and directorates of the province.
