Two Omani projects recognised among top global innovations at LIYSF 2025

London – Two Omani projects among the top (13) global projects at the London International Youth Science Forum 2025, where the project of innovator Hala bint Ali al-Zaabiya, titled 'Dual Treatment of Wastewater using Date Seed Tannins and Advanced Oxidation Technology,' was chosen, which aims to provide an innovative environmental solution for treating industrial waste using eco-friendly methods that rely on local natural resources.
Additionally, the project of innovator Al-Muntasir bin Salem al-Maamari, titled 'Production of AI-supported Green Hydrogen from Mesquite Trees and Industrial Waste,' was selected, aiming to develop sustainable solutions in the field of clean energy using artificial intelligence technologies.
The selection of these two Omani projects reflects the level of scientific excellence achieved by the youth in the Sultanate and their growing role in providing innovative research solutions to address global challenges, particularly in the fields of environment, energy, and modern technologies.
